I was playing my new cleric on the new server today and i met a guy impersonating a GM. I took a screenshot of part of the conversation as proof. He was threatening to ban various people and lying about being a GM.

Hm, i have pretended being a gm also a couple of times. each time with success... but what else can you do against spammers and ****talkers when the report button is ignored for hours?

Impersonating GM's is a bannable offense.
That screenshot is a bit obscure though, if he was threatening players while impersonating a GM, and you got that on screenie, that might be better, but props for the effort.

Yeah, what he said. I've had noobs mistaken me for a GM, prolly cuz of my higher level armor, but I know better than to abuse that.
You could always go to your chat filter thingy and choose for it to not show shout, or normal chat.

I was there last night and this person WAS being very rude and offensive in my opinion... I tried to screenshot it but it didnt seem to work:( He was telling people that if they didnt quit "normal chatting" they would be banned.. Now as a seasoned played we know better but some poor new guy might not. According to him he was on his "private account" and was tired and just wanted to play and he was tired of all the chatting going on.. He wanted people to only talk if it involved serious game issues and NOT anything else... Now of course this same guy also thinks he is really spiderman as well... hmmmm I'm think he has lost quite a few marbles...

Why should we have filtered our chat when all we were doing was talking to eachother.. what we really need is an ignore feature to be able to shut out the idiots...

Well if you're near eachother, you can just look at the chat bubbled above your heads. Its just a suggestion, I do it all the time when I'm in town.
