Scremo (aka Screamo or screaming emo) is a genre of music, not a game. Its style is usually denoted by annoying lyrics yelled at the top of squeaky, pre-pubescent angst-filled voices, whining about how much they hate life and how much it sucks to be different and to be against everything mainstream. The irony here is that the Hot Topic culture now has become so widespread that by declaring yourself emo you actually are overbearingly conformist to mainstream fashion and music. Its fans are normally referred to as "posers".

"Screamo" is not even close what you said, or close to emos. Or the bands you wrote there. Godness...

Only posers say that...you are not on some higher plane of existence because you feign acting cynical, or because you think that you understand the world's biggest joke...you are a kid whose parents drive a minivan, you live in the suburbs, and your idea of sticking it to the man is ditching school assemblies...

Dear are you alright? I think it is you in a "emo" mood and ready to fight?
First be know how to talk with people before calling them/me kid or stupid things you wrote upper. I am nothing like what you wrote and i wont even argue cause of the s**ts you said. Try to be a little man before trying to criticize about something.
All those things you wrote are describing classical emo, screaming-emo. And the interesting people's life trends of listeners that style... Type google "emo". It is not something close the genre "screamo".
And read my post. Search a little what it is.

Actually most of the lyircs in screamo have a meaning if you took the time to even learn what it is. Also it doesn't mean you are emo, anyone can like it. That's like me saying Rap is only for those who wish to pretend to be gangster. Stop trying to act superior, even you are only 2 years older than me. Also I may not be the smartest person in the world but I never realized music has to do with what clothes you wear. I like all music even country, it doesn't mean I wear cowboy boots and a hat (or whatever they wear). Also the only people who use the term poser is immature people who lack the knowledge of what the word actually means.

it all depends what kind of screamo you like. the bands you've listed up there are pretty good.
however, HHLL is more considered grindcore.., as underoath is religious/hardcore/rock/w.e (which underoath do you like, spencer or dallas?:P). job for a cowboy and as i lay dying are metal xD so, just name out of those bands which you like the most. like which genre o.o..
also, screamo has good lyrics if you take the time to look at them or understand them. what does rap have, lol. "yo yo i am a cool g dog" -.- it's not annoying. it takes a different kind of person to listen to it. screamo has many diff branches. if you're listening to music like dr. acula, heck yeah i'd be annoyed too LOL
--also this is kind of the wrong section ;P

Just wondering, before you both write off rap I implore you to pay attention to rap music from before this decade.
I don't think I need to say more about the "meaning" of emo band lyrics:
The amount of pills I'm taking, counteracts the booze I'm drinking
and this vanity I'm breaking, lets me live my life like this
and well I find it hard to stay, with the words you say
Oh baby let me in
Oh baby let me in
Well I'll choose the life I've taken, never mind the friends I'm making
and the beauty that I'm faking lets me live my life like this
And well I find it hard to stay, with the words you say
Oh baby let me in
Oh baby let me in

Without a sound I took her down
and dressed in red and blue I squeezed
Imaginary wedding gown
That you can't wear in front of me
A kiss goodbye, your twisted shell
As rice grains and roses fall at your feet
Lets say goodbye, the hundredth time
And then tomorrow we'll do it again
Tomorrow we'll do it again
I dragged her down I put her out
And back there I left her where no one could see
And lifeless cold into this well
I stared as this moment was held for me
A kiss goodbye, your twisted shell
As rice grains and roses fall at your feet
Let's say goodbye, the hundredth time
And then tomorrow we'll do it again
Today's bands are so manufactured products of pop culture no one can tell the difference between one band and the next. These bands today have no power and soul like the great bands of the middle twentieth century. All they do is pander to the whims of MTV fanboys.

And your point? it's much better than these lyrics
Booty, booty, booty, booty, rockin' everywhere [3x]
Rockin' everywhere [2x]
[Bubba Sparxxx]
I found you MS NEW BOOTY
Get it together and bring it back to me
Hit the players club for about month or two
Put his hand on it then see what he do [2x]
Get it ripe, get it right, get it tight [4x]
[1st verse (Bubba Sparxxx)]
Girl I don't need you, but you need me
Take it off, let if flop, shake it freely
And I don't tell stories, I let 'em tell theyself
And you ain't gotta sell ~, girl, it sells itself, like nothing else
Yeah I'm a country boy, but that big city bottom fill me up with joy
Ain't life grand (life's grand) living up daddy
Here go the whisper song, baby this is us ready?
Put it on me enthusiastically, whatever it is that you do, you do it admirably
And I ain't choose it, that thing chose me
It's Bubba and Ying Yang, all the way in this thing
Yo!
[Chorus]
Get it ripe, get it right, get it tight [4x]
[2nd Verse]
Quarter to twelve and we just getting in
Bubba's gonna make you spark with the Ying Yang Twins
Sipping on Patron, blong blong blong
Shawdy in a thong, whom whom whom
--- get the jiggling, MOTHER----- WIGGLYING
Get that thing shaking, like she frost bit shivering
--- be delivering, all type of flashes, cashes
Got these --- shaking that molasses
SHHHHHH
&you get the rest
Seriously, tell me the meaning of that besides "OH I LIKE GURLZ JIGGLIN DEY BOOTAYZ"

Did you even read my whole post. Rap nowadays is just as bad as all the pop culture stuff posing as "rock". Neither of those lyrics have any meaning. The emo crap is whining on and on about how much they want to die, and how much medication they are on...the rap crap is showing just how bigoted our society can be...
Seriously, you can't use any rap lyrics post 1995 as an example...modern music today is complete rubbish.
Personally, if I had absolutely no choice I would rather listen to a song about booty and ***** than song droning on and on about how in love they are and how much life sucks.
