What skills do Clerics get that attack a target? If you could, give the name of the skill and then a small description of it and/or what it does.

The only skill that i can use is Bash.

It hit's the target Enemy much harder than just regular hitting. You can upgrade it to bash 2, bash 3 and so on.

There are others, but i haven't used them yet :( Sorry =)

Tis okay, I would like to know some of the cleric's offensive abilities cause they sound really slow, all end and all. These all end templates sound like they do little damage and it would take forever to kill a monster. With more offensive abilities, then I could understand playing a Cleric.

Untill lvl 20 you can have only one attack skill. It just make you hit monster few times. Not very strong and effective, but as for cleric it's ok. And it doesn't cost lots of SP, I think 9. I can't tell what else, coz i'm still running to next level ;)

Hmm, well, Clerics in my opinion sound like they are only good for group support and sounds like they would be very slow to solo with.

I really enjoy playing my cleric over my warrior. I built her up like a warrior (str, end, a little spr for some crits, NO INT) and she's really fun. The best is being able to solo by buffing and healing yourself .

You fail to understand, though, the grand abilities of clerics in both PvP and soloing.
Yes, in parties, they are only second, at best, in terms of tanking, and their attacks are disrupted by healing their party, but they have heal.

So what if they cannot survive more three hits from a red-marked beast? because of their low amount of HP, their previous-tier spells can usually heal them for more than half their health. Their most powerful healing spell can fill 'em up all the way! Also, these spells, with proper treatment, can take less than two seconds of cooldown.
Clerics, as stated in a grand article whose author I cannot recall at the moment, said that being a cleric is all about outlasting an opponent-
something clerics can easily do.

I never use bash, anyway.

I love my Cleric started out with the Fighter and then got hooked into my Cleric. I'm all about the heal with +29 SP not counting the ring and such. Maybe it's my helpful personality don't know but thats what I'm there for keeping the others alive or raiseing them from the dead lol.
When I solo now at LVL 31 almost 32 the only power I've come across is BASH for a fighting skill. At this LVL I have not seen any other skill for fighting. May take me awhile to kill a monster but unless over run by 5 or more same lvl monsters I'm not going to die.
Also just joined a Cleric only guild yesterday so this will be interesting with our frist guild war muhahahahaha.....

Hmm, well, the game I came from a healer was only good at healing and other support and couldn't do anything else. There was one class that was an exception to this and it was the Friar class. This class was over powered beyond belief. They used Quarterstaves that hit really really hard. They had self buffs to increase damage, ability to dodge attacks, and increase resistances to magic. The had two abilities that when activated, lasted 30 sec but had a 2 min cool down, aka, for really hard enemies or if you know you won't use them a again before the cool down was done. They are attack speed increase by 50% and every time they hit someone, they would be healed by a certain percentage of the damage they dealt. They had three heal-over-times that affected the party and stacked. They were able to heal when out of combat. And lastly, they had many offensive skills that did many different things, like stuns, poisons, stat reductions, and various debuffs.

You lost me once you start talking about clerics of another game (yea, short attention span) :P I mean, it won't affect how the clerics of this game will be develope anyhow.

In my opinion, so far, it seems like almost all classes are bad at soloing. Mages and archers die easily and waste lots of pots (they kill faster but they might end up dying more). Warrior waste even more pots. Cleric waste the least pots and have the best survival rate when soloing a monster since we can just heal ourself. Sure, we kill slower (may be not much slower than a warrior :P ) but we rarely die unless people tried to run away and trained a bunch of mobs upon ourselves. I personally like to solo a cleric because I don't have to focus too much in the game. I can sit there whacking a monster while playing/talking with my friends, making sure to heal myself once in awhile. If you want to make soloing faster, you may want to get the Bash skill that let you attack the monster for more dmg than whacking.

Of course, party will make things much faster and easier. But it is the same for every class in game anyway. And clerics are almost always needed in a party :)

Clerics are the best for soloing...they can stay out the longest, and are relatively cheap to play too...only using mana stones every 10 mins or so is nice, because you can always just heal yourself....I've got a lvl 33 cleric, and I think I've died 3 or 4 times while out in the field solo...just started a new one of the new server, and I'm thinkin I'll go full spr with this one for the crit rate, instead of 1/2 end/spr
