PvE Difficulty

I just made a Rogue. I like the PvP experience.. extremely fun. But PvE is so annoying! It's hard to hit something without being hit several times over in the process. I guess I'm just used to my Mage--able to kill enemies within two or three hits without being hit at all. And with just the Poison and Stun I can only kill one enemy at a time at a very slow pace, causing grinding to take almost twice as long as my Mage would.

Does it get any better in the higher levels? Or maybe I just I don't have the patience. I'm currently Lv. 14 with all Dex.

I don't play rogue, so the only tip I have to offer is that your weak attack is pretty much as strong as your strong attack only way faster, so if you're used to power shots, try weak shots instead.

My only suggestion is to use a strong attack on an enemy, take a step back, then strike them again simply repeating that. It's pretty much the same in the higher levels but you've got more skills to entertain yourself with.

I've found leveling a rogue to be a huge pain, unless I am mobbing. Fighting with a rogue 1v1 in pve requires too much effort to kill just one monster without getting hit every time.

Yeah I made a rogue, And at first went all dex, But I remade my rogue adding about 25 SPR, which really helped with HP. and you can just mob the map super easy.

My main is a rogue.
I must agree with the others. The fastest way for rogue is mobbing. I spent 4 days killing 1 by 1 and only got half a lvl. 1vs1 on monsters just isnt all that affective.

A few tips on mobbing:

If you can find a map with a cliff than mobbin will be easier. Once you get all your monsters together, stand at the top of the cliff with the monsters at the bottom. Drop down into them and hold in S(weak attack). Dont forget to have lots of potions.

If you cant find a map with a cliff then run to either side of the map with your mob and run at the end of the map(as if there where still more map). This keeps the monsters AI thinking your still running away and they will stack up for you. If you dont you will end up with several monsters standing at a distance using their strong attack.

Generally I would use channel 2, 3, or 4 since channel 1 seems to be the most crowded. Occassionally you will have someone think you are not allowed to mob and they will stand there at your mob and spam their skills. Other than ask them nicely to leave or changing channel or map their isnt a whole lot you can do. I find that mages (no offense to mages) seem to do this the most. Since its a multiplayer game you will just have to deal with the people that think the game revolves around them.

Also dont be afraid of a large mob... they can only hit you 1 at a time.

With rogues you need 2 mob ,but make sure u have hp pots to back u up.

For mobbing all u do is hit all the monsters on the map once until they are red and following you.Then go to the bottom corner of the map and hold s or d. Just watch ur hp and use pots when needed.

I totally agree with Romanthedestroyer! Mages does always KS(Kill Steal)!
I have a mage myself but i don't KS and rather than ksing you can try asking if you can help them attack and if they say no just say ok and walk away

little hope for rouges, the last skill u get as a rouge before u get 2nd class is an aoe :D
