patch fails with "Could not find apps.conf"

Ok I just installed fiesta and when it comes up to the login screen it checks to see if there are any new updates/patches. It finds one but when it tries to extract it i get an error saying "Could not find the apps.conf file at:"

Can anyone help?!

This maybe a issue with your launcher.

Please uninstall the program, and install it again from the download link on our website.

I have tried installing this on 3 different boxes with the exact same problem on each one. The only thing they have in commonm is they all have windows 2003. Can they be the problem?

Besides that all the boxes have different processors, memory, and disk spaces etc. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and get the same problem. I can get you access to my machine if that will help.

I have tried all the different places that have the games download and I always get this problem also.
Running a core duo cpu on 64bit xp.

It seems a lot of these mmos that are originated in asia/genral east have issues with one if not both the listed things above.

But I was able to play fiesta for 1 day on the MY server before they decided I wasnt in their region of play.

ok here is the fix for this problem but then now i am getting another error that many other people are getting, the question mark popup issue
