It seems every once and a while, while on Fiesta, my computer freaks out and gives me an error message involving "ialmrnt5 Driver" and "I/O Device Driver." This only happens with Fiesta and none of my other games, but it never started until the update that made Fiesta fullscreen. This might not be a bug, but just in case... This is what it looks like;

I have had the same. Was wondering if it was just my system or a general bug. I have never gotten the I/O device Driver though..

The error message says:
Windows - display driver stopped responding
The ialmrnt5 display driver has stopped working normally. Please save your work and restart... yada yada yada

If it helps you guys diagnose the problem when I reboot, the microsoft error signature is:
BCCode:ea BCP1:8838D020 BCP2:883CB378 BCP3:884ADAF0 BCP4:00000001 OsVer:5_1_2600 Product:768_1

The files it wants to send are:
...\Temp\WER5c25.dir00\Mini102207-2.dmp
...\Temp\WER5c25.dir00\sysdata.xml

I'm running XP on a Acer Aspire 5500z laptop. Hope you can find this one quickly.. I don't like rebooting.

your two computers must share a common video card.

I have an older computer running Win2K, and have never gotten a video error yet.

Put what video cards are in your systems, and see if there is a common thread.

I somehow doubt Vista is the solution, unless the question is "What suck worse than Windows ME?"

exactly what do u mean a patch that made fiesta full screen? there has always been the option for full screen and windowed mode. if ur having a problem then if u can try window mode if u can get that far for now, personally i prefer windowed mode but i am not saying there is a not a problem. try re-installing the game and then re-installing the latest driver for ur graphics card if u get the same problem

as for Vista there have always been issues with that and programs and games ppl want to run on vista and have heard much much less problems with xp so much. i have heard nothing but problems with vista from ppl buying new machines or installing from the disc they bought. if u have bought a new machine and it has vista on it then DO NOT put XP on the machine just to resolve the problem as u will void any warranty on it
