Currently I have potion and stone making skills. I'd like to change the stone making skill for the scroll making skill. Is this possible? If not, why?

Sorry, you can't change your production skills once you selected it.

makes sense how? your first job is at McDonalds, so you're stuck there, no more opportunities the rest of your life?

That's a good point, but I also see how it makes sense. No need to waste money on a skill just to throw it away when you don't need it anymore.

I would think outspark would like to see you throwing money away - the biggest problem with MMOs is in the long run the economy becomes crap as money becomes worthless as it floods the world. If you decided to quit your career and begin anew (assuming you started over early enough) - yea, you'd be basically giving up all the money you sunk into learning the first skill. (you'd still have it in RL, but I'm willing to give that up in a game for a new choice, should I decide to persue it.)

It makes sense because you can't forget the steps needed in order for your profession. You can't just erase making a potion out of your mind. You can't forget which ingredients you need for a scroll. Do you forget basic math or how to get dressed normally? :P

Well you can create 3 more characters, they all share the same storage, you can pass the items to other character and make them. Be sure to learn the recipe first.
