Why the servers are down?

I thought only Apoline going down :/

Maint and patch, from what we were told. That said, watching the system msgs sent by the admin told you this not once, but 3 times in the hour leading up to it. They will be down approximately 3.5 hrs.

I also heard of some weird monsters spawning in Elderein and killing everyone

There is a patch, the dragons are loose, it needs to be fixed

Yup, you can play the game called 'laugh at the players who got thwarted by maint. and are going to spam up the forums' - it's a world event that's unfortunately quite common.

hmmm, are you trying to imply something?? I have been thwarted by maint, and i am going to something while i wait... i only have about 3 hours left... now only 2 hours and 59 mins... now only 2 hours and 58 mins and 50 seconds... now only 2 hours 58 mins and 40 secs... now only *endless rambling*

I'm going to single-handedly declare war on a guild in another game then wipe out half of them before I return after maint, and try to pull off a probably quite deadly solo attempt... CP at lv 31 cleric.

The thing I always question is why they plan the servers to go down whenever it's the KQ hours. They could start it a hour earlier/later and have half the whiners... :p

I just wish we actually knew what the hell they where working on because after all these maint me and other people don't see ANY improvements or any new content or anything. So what are they working on?

hmm.. no improvement huh?... lets see..
1. gold spammers get deleted..
2. purple slimes are no longer taking over when in shift + z mode..
3. lag is less..
4. your getting items in kq chests now...

yep .. your right.. no diffrence what so ever!:p

1. and they pop right back up within the same damn day
2. I didn't know about that bug to begin with but glad its fixed
3. I live in USA I don't really lag at all
4. You must be joking? hell yesterday I did 1 last mara kq befor I turned 26 and I still got an empty box which was my 4th one in a row.

Well theres alot of difference. Getting better, however, the number of patches are increasing in a month.

the funny thing soon i got done try to set up Halloween i come back to my pc and seen this BIG Dragon on top of my selling boots:eek: i was d/c right there and dont know how long i was d/c. i really got a good look. too bad i didnt take a pic before server crash. i have a great shot :D

And what about the fact that we can now get to level 60 and do the second class change. Sounds to me like things are changing in major ways and we ought to just enjoy this FREE game and quit whining about why the server is down again for maintenance and patching.

1. It's a beta, they don't need to tell you about every little bugfix or upgrade.

Says you? other games list the fixes and inform the community about what is going on. I see no reason why this one can't, its not like its HARD to do. A list of changes/fixes is something really simple.

Oh come on people... Like it has been said before the Game is FREE and IS still in beta... Dont play beta games if you cant deal with the downtime... :(

when did the server go down? i was crashed out and woke up to a disconnect. and to answer a previous question yes there were mobs in elderine, not sure what time that was cuz i had my store set up and saw it when i woke up with half the town dead lol and this was on the alpoline server, my husband just brought up his screen on Teva and HUGE dragons....SWEET!!! and of course half the town dead lol
