hi there..welcome onboard!

well as for info, this game is cool as u can pve (player vs mob) and pvp (player vs player). low lvl quest has not many worth doing but there are CERTAINLY some which very worth doing!

basically there are few characters that you could start playing with. i will list them according to the characters based from the easiest to hardest to lvl.

1. Squire/Knight
Basically u have high def, high atk, can carry much pots and yes u are the main tanker. You got to take up lots of damage from mob but if you got good equipments, nothing to worry bout it. It is tough in pvp for a low lvl squire but it all depends on skills. One of the easiest character to play for a newcomer.

2. Neophyte/Rogue or Neophyte/Scout
You start as a Neo (some sort of thief type). High dodge, low atk, tons of trick and poison atks to kill enemy. At low lvl, you wont notice much on the dodge that you receive but once u hit at least lvl 50, you dodge like hell! The low carry weight is the down part where you need to repot more often. You work well when partying and you can be a tanker too if you have the right equipment and maybe a healer. You may opt to branch out at lvl 45 to be a Scout (bow and arrow) which is cool or you stick to neo til lvl 66 to change to Rogue.

3. Acolyte/Cleric or Acolyte/Disciple
Aco are basically the healers in game. They buff and heal and is valueable to a praty especially high lvl maps. They are hard to solo and needs party to help lvl-ing. Aco may opt to be disciple at lvl 45 to a melee character who can self buff, heal and atk. Disc has average atk and are known as a balanced character in SoS.

4. Apprentice/Mage
You are a glass cannon. Hit hard and low def. Very valueable in party as you deal the most damage and you skills are mostly AoE. The downside is you drink mana pots like water and u need some real luck in drops or you have a stable financial background. You have a very low carry pot ability which is the down part but equipment wise are rather cheap.

There you go~ (im free and at work) lolz
