ok my first post didnt have the best tilte, because there are tons of people wanting to know between spr and int, but i want to through end into the equation, heres why i want to make a full end mage
1. int not very helpful
2, spr only good for crits
3. much better for soloing

END mage would be pretty useless the hp increase would be so minor and the defense that the mage would have will still be weak. INT is very useful you can easily destroy your enemy before he gets to you better than getting hit.

I tried END mage, currently 24, I find it rather useless. Aoe? Just have a tank to hobby around and mock.
So whats next, str mage? Staff/wand bash? :D

Actually, that's called a battle mage. They use magic as support and rely on their weapon for constant damage.
But of course, the way mages are built in Fiesta, this is not possible. There's no skill that'll boost the effect of your magic.
Hm, I wonder if someone will go out of the way to prove me wrong.

Do you know how AOE party actually works? Mage arent the one who would be rounding up the mobs, it is usually the fighter doing the job of rounding them and mock, only then mage would start to burst and nuke. Theres always a possibility each waves of mobs would turn their aggro after a few burst, you might still die even if you pump END though the chance is alot lower than not pumping END.
Conclusion, END is not useless. I'm not full END though =P
Hmm..to the thread starter..I think that Full INT is better for soloing as you can kill a yellow(or was it green?) mob before it reaches you, or the most it would only land a hit on you.(from what i had read in other threads from the pure int mages)...
Full END should suits mages that likes AOE party more in my opinion(no mage would like to get hit by 4-5 red mobs at once >_<)

okay. i was thinking of a END:INT build.
not making it, lol. just suggesting for those who are interested o_O
instead of the typical INT:SPR build, replace the SPR with END.
while critical hits and SP may be less, your def and HP will be above average than normal mages and Life Tap will cover that SP disadvantage.
the INT provides that additional damage.
hence, this END will pretty much be something like a cleric, not heal HP, but heal SP.
this is just what i was thinking, didn't consider other issues such as weapons o_O
cos now i think that mages with low HP, using life tap is quite risky.
so probably END mages will prove it useful.
