Hey all thanks ahead of time fo rthe help.
When I am in game and try to move the camera by holding the right mouse button it does weird things. By that I mean thta it will randomly unlick and stop moving the camera even though I stil have the right mouse button depressed. This makes the game unplayable for me because it can take a full minute to get the camera in a position for that fight. Any help would be appreciated.

Changing the sensitivty didn't help. It still randomly shuts off camera looking around. Any other help would be appreciated

I have the exact same problem. Sometimes it just takes forever to keep spam right clicking to turn the camera. Also I get a lot of fps lag like half the time im playing, my graphics card is fine and Ive tried turning game settings as low as possible with no solution

This function issue is attributted to your mouse or settings. Please make sure you have your mouse settings to default. Also please make sure you have the latest drivers for your mouse.

Thank you,

My mouse is up to date with the latest razer copperhead drivers. I am confused as to what you mean by default? A razer mouse lets you choose your DPI, resolution, and sensitivty. What should these settings be to run the game? Default doesn't exactly help me.

My mouse drivers all up to date and I already have been using the default settings for my mouse. Just in case I tried the "Restore to defaults" option, with no change.

Mine does this too, but only in the city, where it's horribly annoying, when i'm out hunting its fine, leading me to belive it's not a me problem, as the GM suggests. I'm using a logictech G5 as well. Top quality gaming mouse. I also have the blurry text problem that some people report, though i'm running the game on the highest resolution and have tryed changing my font settings and everything. My computer is a dual core, 256M vram and 2gig sytem ram. I know my computer can handle this game just fine, maybe the game can't handle my computer?

I've had this problem before in another game. I have a Logitech MX Laser mouse, and I determined that it was the mouse hardware, itself, that was causing the issue for me. Granted, there is nothing wrong with it - it's just designed differently than the Microsoft mice that I was used to operating.

The clickers are less sensitive than what I had been used to, and the amount of pressure required to click is not uniform across the button. I was used to pressing a mouse button in the area of its surface which is closest to me, and have since had to adapt to pressing it in the area which is farthest from me. Also, I have had to get used to the idea that the buttons require more pressure in order to keep them fully depressed.

A depressed button is a happy button. :p

I doubt this would reflect the games issue with it unlocking the camera look while right button is pressed in town, but not in the forest. It works exactly like it is supposed to in other parts of the game for me.. it just wigs out in highly populated areas, it's not a lag issue either i have almost no graphics or network lag, the camera simply stops moving and the pointer reappears while i still have the button pressed.

Test it. While in town, hold the right button down hard and spin the camera. Test holding it down on different areas of the button surface.

Also, my response was directed at the thread starter. Your issue, which only seems to occur in populated areas, may be different.

I assumed, since his problem seemed to be exactly the same as what I was experiencing (in populated areas) that he was having the same problem as I, only never made it out of town because he felt the game was unplayable in that condition.

I do appreciate your suggestion however. Especially considering that this issue seems to have been swept under the rug (last post before mine dated 10/23/07) and ignored, despite that it seems to have driven away at least one person from continuing to play.

Thanks for your help. And thanks to anyone else who bothers to read this.
:o)

Edit: BTW I wanted to mention that I swapped my mouse with my wifes mouse and it still has this issue on my computer, but not on hers.

It's an odd issue, Ddamu. I'm at a loss. If it's not a hardware issue (i.e. the mouse or your hand :)), then it would likely be the result of some sort of software confliction, I suppose.

I would test out the game with only the processes that pertain to your operating system running in the background - this includes disabling any processes linked to the software that came with your mouse (if you chose to install it). I might even go so far as to completely uninstall the mouse software, temporarily, for the purpose of testing (again, only if you installed it in the first place).
