Sure thing. First of all, you need a stone to help you + your item.

In this case, it's an elrue. You can find them at players shops for around 30copper each.

After you buy one, hit "refine", place your item into the middle square, and then place ONE elrue in any of the others, and hit "refine". A spinning star will then appear, and it needs to land allign with your elrue to + successfully.

Hope that helps! If you have problems, post them on here.

Okay how many elrue can be put it in? I saw it said 1~3... if it add 1, it increase level 15 mace to level 16?

If i put 3, it increase 3 more level too? I just wanna make it stronger than ever tho.

1 time refine can only use 1 stone(elrue/lix/xir)...

it is not meaning that +1 is lv15 -> lv16 weapon...

lv15 weapon from +1 - +9 still lv 15 weapon...

the difference betwenn +1 and normal one is the damge...

Example: normal weapon is 10-15 damage
+1 weapon is 10-15(+1) damage

Your weapon/armor has to be unequipped before you put it in the refine slot.

Press "f10" in game and read the little tutorial on refining. It will help you :)

There's actually a pattern to it, but from my experience, that pattern changes radically once you switch from elrue to lix and from lix to xir. A good rule of thumb, even if you can figure out the pattern, is to upgrade only once every twenty-four hours. It's restricting, I know, but with my limited knowledge I can confidently upgrade items to +3. (Now if only I can get them to +4...)
