See above thread, and as an update, I have tried playing with a secondary character, and it seemed to be coming along just fine, until I opened up a shop... then I got the error again. :(

Have the same problem - when i open a shop if i am lucky it works maybe once but most times as soon as i click "sell" it ends with a buffer overrun error.
