Game almost freezes my cpu

Hi all, I just downloaded Fiesta and when I start it, I can see the server selection screen, but it is so slow that it nearly freezes my computer. I do meet the minimum requirements, so I was wondering if somebody know what this might be?

When first starting the Fiesta game the game will take a bit of time to load the level. This can seem like lag/freezing. Bare with it for 30-45 seconds. It will eventualy go away.

This seems very similar to the problem I face. By default it seems to be set to window mode, bear with it and once you are in game, try ticking off the "windowed mode" under graphic settings making it full screen.
