How do you put skill points to attack with better attacks?

I'm just asking how do you get better attacks with a clerick. I have one attack skill point, but I can only can put the attack skill point with making potions. Also Alchemy. (Sorry if is spelled the word alchemy wrong). So can anyone help me? Please help. Thank you. :(

??? I don't understand what you mean. productions skills (potions, scrolls making ect ect ... ) don't use any skill points.
