I don't know if this happens during all crafts, though I assume it does.
While crafting some hp and sp potions, I decided to move the potion icons on my hotbar. When I did this, it closed the game on me. So I pulled the game back up and tried it again, and nothing happened.
I tried it a few more times, and found out that if you move your button for your consumable right when a newly crafted one goes into your inventory, it'll shut off your game.
