i want to open the forum in thanks to the admins
it looks like your servers dont have any more spammers
you alway hear what is wrong but never hear any thanks
also for me the lag in town dont seem to be as bad. there are not that many seller and buyers. i guess
we should all say thanks to the admin for all your heard work and giving us a game for free

I dunno what you did to get rid of them.. is it permenant? was it a ban on a certain range of IP's where they were all coming from.
I did a whois on all the spammed websites, and every one of them came up as being of some asian area, with asian owners.
p.s. don't even TRY to pull some sort of asian bashing context into that..

Not sure how they did that but They're only about a couple of spammers left in Roumen.

Perhaps a different shift of spammers?
(I only got to enjoy it for less than half and hour.)

It's a cycle, spammers galore, gm comes, spammers gone, rinse repeat and it never ends .......I feel bad for the GM's having to do it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.........etc....

May be its time for them to script something up so that they are automatically booted or banned for repeating certain things/ words over set period of time that they first started to say the words.

4. um sue? they arent breaking any LAWS particularly not international laws.....and whom do you sue? youve gotta have a name of some sort

make it so u can't repeat the same thing 3 times. Because they use macros so they would have to come up with multiple and they wouldn't put up with it. And IP ban them. Their company has an ip so apparently their IP can be banned and you can report their ip to their ISP to get it revoked. I have done that on many MMO's when i was a GM. But i don't play that mmo so i don't know if that will work here.

We were tired of the shouting spam from gold sellers. It floods our chat screens.
So the GMs responded with age restricted shouts.
...then came the evolution of the spam. Chat spamming, with zero restrictions.
So now we are bombarded with that same text, but now its every single second (non stop) from multiple bots.
Yes, last night they announced on the servers that they were coming down on spammers and color exploiters but it means the GMs will need to be in world a lot more often as the non-stop spammage is worse than before.
Hope we get this fixed.
