Screen closes at start

well, when i start it up, its kinda laggy, until i pick the server and go to the character creation/picking screen, than its perfect, no lag at all, i hit create and the screen freezes.. than closes.. anyone have any idea whats wrong with it?

crash to desktop. you are attempting to connect to the server and something goes wrong.

chances are xtrap is having an issue with a process on your computer.
