I have heard some of the bands like Blood Stain Child, Zombie ritual which is mixture of brutal death metal and goregrind, Carcass is really one good dm band their album Heartwork is probably their best album, DevilDriver the melodic death metal band and I can't wait for their new album Pray for Villains :D then Slayer o.o isn't slayer thrash metal?

-Yup, Blood Stain Child used to be my favorite melodic death metal band, but now it's Frosty Eve =p
-Zombie Ritual is exactly as you describe that. Funny thing about them is the have either the word Zombie or part of the word in almost every song they have.
-Carcass is a great band. I stumbled across them watching one of those 'My top ten favorite death metal bands' videos on YouTube.
-DevilDriver I only started listening to them because I liked Coal Chamber, so I decided to check out Dez's new band. I like them better than Coal Chamber, actually.
Slayer I've heard people call them thrash, I've heard people call them death. To be honest, I know they're a good band in one of those categories, so I posted them, but I haven't listened to a lot of their music to be able to classify which one they should go under. I've listened to some songs that I like, but that's about it.

And yeah, a lot of the bands I listed are Japanese XD.
