in my eyes, events lately have been horrible.
they have all been shorted to 30minutes, there are less events a week, sometimes few notices, and if they do make a notice, it says "event starts in __ minutes, go to calender for more info", ok, the calender is outdated and is often wrong or confusing, i remember the events text from the first time i went to the event.
they need to give more info about event before the event and give people a warning about when the event starts and not just start it out of no were and leave people wondering wat just happened (like today).
if they don't have time to host events and have to rush them, let me host official events or let some1 else with time to do it.
todays event was the worst i think, i have no idea wat even happened, oh, and i made a 2 (1 in essene, and 1 in the map north)white egg shout after about 5 minutes into the event and said for anyone that didn't know wat the event was or wat to do, pm me, i got a few pms..
i also did this before at another event, but with yellow eggs, and it was like 5 minutes before event started and i got some pms..
i've been to ALOT of events and hosted alot too so i know that it can be hard at times, but i also know that gms really don't try to hard, they have warps, unlimited eggs and notices, and alot of other stuff but sometimes it seems they don't know how to use the good >.<

and while i'm at it, while i was killing moonbears 1 by 1, other classes at my lvl were killing them by the dozen <.<

I didn't even know about any events. I just log on these days and there's Toasty (or someone) shoutin weird stuff with the green notices.

LOL I didn't mean to sound like I was slammin Toasty. I think he's doing a good job, just that he's a bit. Strange. xD

I say we give GM Toasty a break and let him get his skills down. They dont only do events. They have other tasks they have to take care of. The "Follow the Rabbit" event to day was funny and we had fun. I think Toasy is doing a great job with the events hes holding. KUDO's to you Toasty n ty for mah cloak :D

The calendar is not outdated lol its for every month. I believe if u check it its updated for April now...
As for not understanding whats going on in an event there is a section of the forum that is made to explain all the events. They aren't stickies anymore but they are search able plus if you click on an event from the calender it explains it. Its not that the GM's are rushing anything I personally don't think they should waste half the event explaining how to do things when people usually don't end up listening anyways. Especially when all the information is on the forums for everyone to read. As for today's event..I'm sorry but how could u not understand "follow the white rabbit" it is kinda self explanatory...follow the white rabbit with gm by his name *hint hint*

Also if you haven't noticed in the past almost every event was item required and lately there has been no item requirements so why complain? GM's have a lot to do and they don't even have to do events. If u have played any other kind of RPG i think outspark has the most involvement with GM's and the community. Also most other gaming companies rarely host events except like ounce a month maybe so i would be grateful and maybe search around the forums a little more before u start bashing the events =\ I've been to a lot of events too ;] and u can't honestly say u know the GM's aren't trying hard because you aren't there so you don't know... ^^; just my 2 cents

I think we should all thank biscuit for trying biscuit's best. I mean, I'd rather have a messy event than none. Since Biscuit's came, there's been so much more happening. Not to mention that Biscuit's new, we need to give some time for improvement. I personally think we should just be patient and happy with what we have as of now.

I'm just glad that the events have been more frequent and a little bit more equal for lower levels. As far as any mistakes made by Toasty (biscuit, lol) hosting the events, well experience is the best teacher.

There has been an increase in random events as well. Toasty randomly spawns stuff like Mayos and mobs almost every day unlike some past stingy gms. I also likes that he spams emoticons more frequently. He has been more liberal giving out prizes like sakura spirits and chocolates.

Give him some time to work on some organization of some of the events. He is trying some new things like the random pox, which while frustrating was still fun even though i did not get loads of xen stones. Follow the white rabbit was fun and he did give out an easy clue to help everyone find him in the end. Keeping high level players and nubs alike happy is not an easy job

As was previously stated, I like events as well and a messed up event is better than no event at all.

The recent random events kind of remind me of the way it was when I first started playing. I like the increased GM activity. Could be interesting times ahead, the GM's seem to be experimenting and trying some new ideas. Things are happening. Everyone was griping because the game was getting stale, now that changes are occuring, people are griping because things are changing. As far as having fewer events and the events being shorter, remember there are now 2 servers. I am guessing there aren't dedicated GMs for each server.

I didn't find that stupid moonbear but I had lots of fun killing them with circle trap :P. I love the events,weddings etc....And I hope they continue...Thats my two cents :P

For those wondering where the event calendar is, it's on the main forum page at the bottom (http://www.outspark.com/forums/index.php). Just click on any event to see that event's details and times. The SoS-events are specifically here: http://www.outspark.com/forums/calendar.php?c=2
I usually check the week of the event, that's when it's most likely to be accurate, but I think the GMs list events up to 2 weeks in advance.
There've also been A LOT of unannounced mob spawns lately, some of which had xen or item or candy drops. <3 free xp with no death penalty! 8D

Lets give toasty a grace period. He may be a slow learner.... with concrete events; but everybody has the "grey area". He has shown promise by other things I suppose, glitch reports, candy gushing mobs and stuff we probably dont know of that goes on in the office.

All there is to say is that his number keys ceased to work during that event

O.o the mayo mayo events make me lag sooo bad xD. I love all the events but those. I miss back when were also spawned in Essene but lately they've only been in bryn. I appreciate the GMs interaction with the players and their friendliness ^^. TYVM for the work and thought put into the special events!! I have enjoyed them. ;]
