Well I am basically new to this game and I have been doing KQ. They are really cool and fun to play but I have an issue. Why seperate groups? Why not all one group? Being that we all work together anyways and half get shafted on xp and kill counts.
Like yesterday I done Golden Hill 3 times to complete the quest for the boss at the end. I finished everytime but as of right now I still don't have the quest complete. All the groups work together at the end to kill the boss but only the group that gets the final blow gets the kill? Sounds a bit shady to me.
I don't know if you do this to keep poeple going back into KQ or not but even with out this I would do KQ because they are good experience.
My main issue though is the groups? Why would you split them up and basically make them fight over who gets what. You might as well enable pvp in the KQ so if you get owned in pvp you don't feel cheated on not getting the boss even though you probably did most the dps.
Any fixes to this maybe in the future or am I just gonna have to suck it up?

They aren't going to change it. Maybe it's to prevent further leeching. Someone can finish the boss quest without even trying.

I can see where that is problematic, most of the time at the beginning one group calls the boss and everyone who needs that quest joins that party. That what i have always done.

I would think an party of 15 people is gonna be hard to manage. @@
But yea, I understand your frustration. The only way is to just take part over and over again. Or forget about the boss quest lol.

tips for getting kill,
get atleast 1fighter who can take hits(not squishy) to either tank or just deal constant melee damage, cleric for heal/buffs, then like 3DDs is probably the best pt to have.
the more people in your pt that are attacking the higher chance you have of getting it, so having like 3cleric in pt doesnt do much for you lol. and for bosses that have aoes, that fighters cant can hit fro arnt very useful either.
also tell your pt which kills you need so they can try and help you, works well when you all spam skills when the things is almost dead.
and since you like doing kqs Flash's KQ guide (http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180791) ^^

well if your in not in a pt or not a big one memorise the speed in which you attack and the damage it does then how much damage it does to the boss and time it right kill is yours automatically i did this when i used to play and it was common then that the higher levels would join together excluding the ones that needed the exp and kills and get all the points i never missed a boss quest

Thanks for the group tips. I'll try those. I eventually got it, but yes it can be a bit annoying.
And for the one that said you couldn't imagine healing a group of 15. Well, maybe they could leave it the way it is until the final boss and then find some way to implement the boss credit to everyone.

I'm wondering why they even have an event section, they never mention, choose or add any of them to the game lol.

Don't Worry. Once you get to around level 60+ KQ rewards are serverely lacking. In the level 80 KQ, you get about 100k exp if I'm not mistaken when you need millions to level up. D: And I can get a few million from a single quest :x But yes, the early KQ's are always fun :p
