In my experience I don't worry about the best places to train, I just stock up on all the quests I can undertake for my level and then head to where I can complete it. The quests kind of parallel the recommended levels for each map, anyway, so it all works out for me. I do recommend that you start attending the Slime King KQ the moment you notice that you still haven't gained a level after completing the requirements of all the quests you currently have, if only to help speed up the grinding some more.

Hope that helped (somewhat... ^^;).

End cleric.. this type of cleric truly does rule in PvP no matter what doubters might think. There is a problem though for all of you who are looking for a quick road trip to greatness.

End clerics CANNOT solo well in PvE. They don't hit much dmg per swing, they miss often enough to be annoying, and no matter how much end you go you will never be free from receiving more damage than a fighter of the same level as you. Thus even though a lvl 26 full end cleric could survive fairly well in Uruga in a 1vs1 with a monster it will take them FOREVER to actually kill it making the exp while seemingly a large amount, actually end up being a colossal waste of time. And unfortunately enough even on grey named monsters after a certain lvl you will find your kill speed dropping more and more. Clerics are the safest class for soloing but they are the slowest class for soloing.

This means that even though you are a tank build and can survive hits from some truly nasty monsters at lower lvls than other classes, YOU WILL STILL be acting as a support healing cleric for 99% of the time while lvling as part of a party.

Thus the best place of all for you to be... is the highest possible lvl area that you can survive at least 1-2 hits in and be able to keep the tank fully healed after each hit. This will give you monstrous amounts of exp super fast and reward you with high lvl drops that can be quickly sold for insane amounts of cash. The only catch to this is that you need to find someone able and willing to let you join their higher lvl group, and quite often there is a glut of higher lvl clerics also trying to join in on the same few groups.

Of course all of this is simply my opinion... but as a lvl 48 cleric that was full end for ages (I'm just now starting to add spr since seeing a slightly alarming bit of increase in mage dmg in PvP's) I think I have a right to expressing that opinion.

Oh and to any of those people who DON'T think full end clerics rule the PvP world... tell that to all of the guilds on the Teva server that have been in guild wars with CrimsonWolves and had to send their entire guild in a gang onto me just to kill that single person and even then sitting there for ages regenning without dying even when they were smart enough to use stuns.

When you can survive a 10vs1 gang attack and turn around and kill all of them off one by one... that is truly a nice feeling to have. ;)

It depends...what level were you versus them?

I personally have been taken down by organized teams of 5 in GW.
If the party knows what they are doing they won't do something stupid like let you kill them one-by-one especially where they have the numerical advantage and where members of their party can kite.

I don't mean to diminish your experience in that GW but i then have to question the ability of the guild you warred....

It's funny how many people believe the amount of hit points you have determine how 'tough' you are..

I'm level 35, (nearly 36), with a VIT SCROLL i only have around 1k HP, and solo in Vine Tomb just fine.

(mostly SPR Cleric)

I can solo red elites there, but with the drop penalty, it's not worth my time.. So i just go after yellow mobs.

I've fought guilds with 4x when I was 3x, guilds with 5x when I was 4x, and been pretty much even levelled quite often. But admittedly often the advantage is the other way around which is why I tend to let the lower lvls in our guild fight it out these days.

The only thing I've found that truly _hurts_ me is if a fighter stuns me and 4-5 mages spam their highest lvl spells onto me while I'm stunned unable to self-heal. When that happens I die real fast.

Other day I was in a fight with the Dark_Sun guild before they got the GW bug where they can't attack. Meek (definitely over 51 since he was 51 on the 17th) was stunning me while a bunch of his guild's clerics, himself, a lower lvl fighter, and an archer were attacking me. The only time they'd get me is when instead of using a stone I'd try to wait the stun out for a heal since it was so close and I wanted to save money. ;)

He was in a party with his 4x cleric so had the + dmg and - def party buffs, he had the h/s buff, and he had scrolls up. I was by myself with no one in party so less valued party buffs, had no scrolls up, and no +age to my equips. It took him and his group ages to kill me each time and only killed me when I stupidly didn't try to use my hp stone because wanted to save money and thought I could wait out the stun and get the heal off in time.

Don't get me wrong he's a good fighter and his devastates do what the name suggests. But I have just enough base def in a PvP match and my end is just high enough to have a good recovery rate on my stones that one stone will match all the dmg he can possible do to me and then some even though he's higher lvl, had better eq, scrolls up, and better party buffs.

IMO In a true 1vs1 match between us with both using the default store value equips, no scrolls, and no buffs for the fighter that the fighter can't give to themself, I would win every time until he got to lvl 60 and the higher dmg weapon. Once I get to 50 even that might not be the case any longer.

The adage that the only way to kill an equal level cleric is to stun them rings true. But a highish lvl full end cleric will even shrug that off.

A few days back CrimsonWolves fought against the Remorse guild. Devante, and 2 other but lower lvl fighters were taking turns stunning me one after the other. That didn't kill me simply because they didn't have enough dps on me to finish me off during the stuns.

I could go on but I think everyone gets the picture. Historically in games I've never been a good PvP build since I've always taken healers and always made them full def so I could survive hits long enough to heal my party first and in most games that ruined any chance of my causing enough dmg to the enemy to make for a good PvP build. In Fiesta though that build is surprisingly strong.
