So you know, I was really thinking about not writing this. Then, the typical forewarning, no I didn't search for any other posts like this. I am a little tired right now so I just wanted to write this and suffer the consequences of my actions later.
Ok.
What are the purpose of Dungeons?!?! I would have had a clear answer for you the first day I dropped into the waterways beneath the main city, loot! I was in there for no more then a few minutes and I got a +2 Shield of Wind which I later sold for 15k...but, that was the only luck I had in there! I fought and I slaved over killing mobs hoping not to get adds for they would surely decimate me, and a few times they did. So I left and leveled up and came back later on. Once a day in there I go and get 1 level now, I get about 2% per kill around mid 20's I am 27 now. I have gotten more loot out of the different field maps then I did in there, and would have gotten twice the exp probably. So I was curious if anyone else knew the purpose of the dungeons? For being a lot harder then normal places I would have thought there would have been better drops.
P.S. I guess I should include this in my post but I think I was just lucky tonight. I did get a shiny Blue Ball, and a Yellow Watermelon, yes I know what the Watermelons are used for so dont ask for it! RAWR! haha.:D
Thanks in Advance!

The sewers is a quest, but I dont know if it's loaded into the CB or not. I ment to ask ridedr but forgot.
After three levels of it you'll find an alter with some text. That's it, nothing more. Nothing to do with the alter.
You and I should run the sewers if you still feel like doing it. I enjoy a good run as does some other friends. What's your in game name?

I breifly went in the there at level 20, and recently returne now I'm 35.
Sadly, the same thing happened at 35 as I tried to run through, it just took longer to happen...
May I ask, did you get that Melon inside the Sewers?
Nice first post by the way, it was well written.

XD i dont know if this is the appropiate place so im sorry if it isnt I havent started playing yet but i was just curious of what yellow watermelons do?
And usually when i play a game(obviously i havent played this one) they are associated with quests or are simply there for training like fields and stuff

Don't worry, I think its ok, as the thread has a Watermelon topic.
So, I'll tell ya', but next time, make a thread or PM.
The Yellow Watermelons are required to obtain a Pet, you need 5 in total, and they are stupidly Rare.
I'm begining to think its a Ploy from OutSpark, as the only way of getting them efficently is by Events.
that encourages people to do the events, see the Logic?

I knew I shouldn't have told anyone about that watermelon!!! haha. Yes, I did find it in the waterways. On the first floor, I went all the way through the outside path, whew was it hard! It is really slow trying not to get more than one monster on you. I went in with 100 hp potions, and 50 mana potions, came out with 0 hp potions, and 9 mp potions haha. I was in there for an hour and half to two hours. The only time I really used the potions was when I either fought a few in a row and couldn't regen my hp and mp, or I got two right away, I was too far away from the entrance to run away so I spam healed myself. BTW if you wanted to know what mob I got it off of, it was a King Island, the centipede.
I don't run the sewers at any particular time, I just get up and go before I hit the sack, and try to do as much as possible. So if I get on, I will look for you, first time being in a group too. So it will be a new experience.
Thanks for the comment also, I try to write as best as possible, even when I am half asleep. hehe.

I always assumed it was for a quest that i just couldn't do yet. Because either they hadn't put it in or I wasn't a high enough lvl. But where there is one yellow watermelon there has to be more. Onward ho!!!

I've been through the sewers many times and never seen the watermelon so it was probably a very lucky drop.
I'll try to be on, i think that's 4 my time.

I am in there right now, just to let you know hippy hehe. Haven't gotten squat in here and been in here for an hour now. Died once, someone trained by me and all the mobs came back to where I was heading XD. So now I am going a different way, and what do you mean by 3 levels and an altar? There is a basment in here or something? lol. Though, I am almost 28 and about to take a break...out of potions almost too. =/

After hitting my Level 37, I decided it was time to go Commando~
Chibi had just claimed they were completely lost, so lost that "-Tear-" was added to the text.
I, fed up with fighting Pawkins and Sould Balls, left my high horse and headed for the fabled Sewers.
Turning a Sharp right, then going in the unknown abyss that lay ahead, it wasn't long before I started getting long trains off mobs, gnawing at my ankles, Invisablity fixed that, it fixed it Good~
The only down side is, using the Skill knocks you down to the speed of sombody delivering a large Love Letter, from a guy who can't take a hint.
Crawling around I soon ended up by "The Level 2 Entrance", in which Chibi's replies were...not so optimistic, they had already been running around in the dark, literally for a good hour. Chibi then notified that he had to go, leaving the remaining 3 exploreres with several Health Pots. Thats right, 3. I thought there were only 2 people in there to begin with :3
Heading back to the Entrance again (All you have to remeber is the general direction of it), I soon found Nekorb, laying down.
<Missing text>
He filled me in that the rest of the group had split up, and he was now going solo. Soon fixed that. My main intention was to guide people out, but Nekorb then reminded me of one simple factor, Home Scrolls. So instead of showing him the tunnel of light which I lingered for, I decided to show him the entrance to Floor 2. A few breif crab fights later, and here we are!

Wow. Good job guys. Did you manage to find your way to the third level?
I'm glad you found him, I felt really bad when I couldn't lead the way and got all lost. It's happened the past two times. Maybe I've forgotten the way completely. Oh well. ^_^
Glad Nek got there, I was worried because of me Nek would never see the bottom.
I'll run it with you guys sometime.
Nice screenshots too.

Well, lets not forget those mobs check blue to me in there, so they do actualy run away when I start to hurt them too badly xD
I really don't know about the Laby map though, there have been a few arguments over them in the past~
We didn't actualy do too far into level 2 though, as Nekorb had to go out, think I'll try it again later see if I can find my way to Level 2...
I was a GCSE Geography student too, if that accounts for anything.
Thanks for the feedback, appricate it ;D
<Edit> Went back in and Found it, I know the way, also found where I found Nekorb, he was so Close!

As the lab map, both the novice and the intermediate are the same. It's just that the monster are harder.

I made it to sewer lv 3 by myself. Pity that monsters attacks me and runs away when I pound them, which **** my poor Monda to attack zealiously while getting chased by low level 6+ mob.
Couldn't recall the attack, nor have time to heal much.
Got killed thanks to that stupid thing. Could have made it to the finish line. >_>

Lawl, exactly what happened to me on the first floor.
After smashing the bats once, they run off, so I go chasing off after them while a bunch of sealife chase me in some long creey Congo line.
I'm tempted to go further in on Floor 2 now...I can go invisable after all xD

I could tank with my acolyte better then my peers at sewer lv 1. (What the....?)^-^'
You should be able to do it. Just bring potions.
(We should have more AoE for classes, it gets annoying with agressive small fry mobs when you try targetting them)

You got that right...I'm looking forward to when I get Circle Blade, or whatever it is called~
I'm going to wait up for the others for now...but I want to take a look still...
The second floor is cunning, from what I've seen the first bit of it is a big curb, designed to throw you off which direction the exit is in, at least I think so...

Third level is a stoney valley of some sort, with rats. Big ones!
