First I hope the game will run for you, becoure I read, that lots of people have problem, but let it not concern you if you dont :)
Than one thing that is making me mad lately - the game is lagging pretty much, I hope someone will fix it, becouse it's really good.
I hope you read something about classes that are in game. If you didn't, just ask.
And about choosing server - if I were you I would choose Bijou, new, not overcrowded yet (accually since it exist any of servers are overcrowded).

I also hope that you will like this game and find many interesting things in it. As for the tips, so search for all the tips in wikipedia, there people have already wrote many things.

As from my side, i advice you to reach 5th level by killing near by monsters and then take part in Kingdom Quests, then you will grow much faster and there will be a very good chance to meet friends and find many important and valuable things in the treasure chest (the one you will get after the KQ). Don't worry if it is empty, for many of us it happens quite often. In truth, today i've got my first gift from the KQ and that's after 4 times trying.
