my friend is just now starting out he is going tio be a cleric and i am a fighter is it possible for him to be in my party cause i want to help him out and i dont know if i can cause i was told that if you are a higher lvl member with a lower lvl party member that the other perso nwill get less exp

When you get higher lvls the exp rate of lower lvl monsters gets smaller For instance

Lets say you and your buddy kill a king crab
He'd get 14exp (This isn't the exact exp rate)
But you'd get 11exp (Read above ^)

So he'd get more exp but you'd get less.

I doesn't differ much at lower levels. Beside that, you can still help him without being in his party.

Thats actually the complete opposite for yourself up until enemy colour becomes yellow As you keep leveling up Enemies give you more exp until you are past the enemies level.
