Basically, anywhere. The less crowded the zone, the more chances you have o find one tho.

The spawn points are completely random.
They can occur in any area at any time.
(or where the GMs want them to)
I found one yesterday on Sand Beach near the King Crab spawn. (got a Honeying pet and some gold earrings) Yeah! :)

Yeah. So you'll have to be on when most people are off the game. That's how I was able to get one in Forest of Tides and Sand Beach.
Keep an eye out, and it'll show up if you're lucky.

I know most of the highest leveled players cant even get to Concealed Prison 2nd floor in one piece and Flaming Mine hasnt even been released yet. (Final Stage in the game)

I'm curious.. anyone ever find a chest in either Echo or Windy cave maps? Those places are massive yet in general only like 1-10% of the map gets used by people who stick near the exits as much as possible.

What if you went in via Uruga portal? I've yet to try it but I've heard it was a one way portal (thus the reason Ive never tried it yet)

I've mined there for hours at a time (but mostly stuck to the upper left quarter of the map) and never seen a chest in it yet, however I have picked up Xir[1] from mining a time or two. I don't know if that counts or not.

That takes you to Collapsed Prison not Concealed Prison
Even when you do make it into Concealed Prison you have to make your way from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor and the first floor has enemies much stonger than AEW enemies.

Spawn chests mainly include stuff you can't buy at NPC shops..in the Korean version where spawning occassionally appear even in Roumen but the english version doesnt have any including the ingame shop..thoes chests contain special costums..that make a player unique..and hair styles and colors..it is placed in the empty slots inthe equipment screen..LOLZZZ!! see my post about, Answering all your questions..!!!
