I was an original beta tester and due to circumstances was forced to stop playing shortly after the game went full so i was wondering whats new since a couple years ago?

I would but im currently waiting for next month to get personal enternet im at the library now but i will be on then tho id like to be prepared. In that respect id like to know why it went down hill i hear pkers and pkkers are now a norm in pvp dungeons i remember when the pvp areas in towns was a big controversy people where complaining when someone went in at a godly level compared to the standard levels and there was a line of corpses it was kinda funny i personnally dont mind the dying and xp loss so long as i get a few fun fights in its worth it to be reduced to no xp i used to love going into roumen feild and using mock then devastation and everything died. Is there still buggy quests and such? Also a big issue people had was the mages and clerics being god like as well as not being able to give items bought with sparkcash as gifts

Personally, I still love Fiesta, been playing since Jan 08. There are some isseus with the game, but I feel like OS is attempting to deal with them. I'm still giving them the benefit of the doubt because I have seen an improvement in their customer relations lately, and that is important to me.

There are definately some imbalances in the game with sparkcash users vs non-sparkcash users. Some people in the game rely only on sparkcash items, not really bothering to learn the skills of their class, making them not fun to party with. There are alot of players who don't do this though so it doesn't bother me. You will however, hear alot of complaining about it in-game. Be prepared :D

The abyss they changed the level limits on. I don't know how long you were gone for, but level limit now goes 6 lvls above, say the 20 abyss is recommended for lvls 20-36, 30 abyss 30-46 and so on. They finally made the kill points active, so there is alot of pking going on in the abyss. I think it's fun and it definately encourages leveling your character so you can compete. Sparkcash users rule the abyss, but that was always the case, and using sparkcash is pretty much the norm nowdays anyway.

I made a new character a little over a month ago, she is lvl 67 now-without playing all day everyday lol- if that tells you anything about how easy it is to level. I also have not encountered any buggy quests on her yet, but I have not done very many 6x quests, so I can really only comment on lvl 1-59 for quests. I do remember having a quest I couldn't complete on my fighter in my 70's or 80's but I'm sure they fixed that now, they've been pretty good about it.

Mages and clerics are not gods lol. They nerfed mages a looong time ago. A capped mage has 72(i think) hp stones, while other classes have 200-300 hp stones ;/. And they are now being outdamaged by full str or str hybrid fighters.

Clerics, even full str ones, will never be better solo than in a group, they simply take too long to kill things, and the higher level you go, the more things you need to kill for quests. I will say that most 85 and up clerics are really hard, if not almost impossible to kill in pvp, epsecially if using extenders or charms from the cash shop.

You can now gift your friends most item from the sparkcash store, however, you are not allowed to do it in exchange for in-game money. It's against the rules ;/. And you can't gift any of the really useful things, like blessing of teva, red eyes/blue miles for enhancing or exp boost cards. You can gift just about everything else though.

The community is still strong, however a little divided into "first gen" players, "second gen" players and new players. First gen would be you, the cbt player, so people probably won't sneer at you lol. I think it is silly that people have divided themselves like this, but, oh well it happens i guess.

I think that's Fiesta in a nutshell. Oh yeah, most of the original GM's are gone, but they just hired a bunch of new ones, and they seem ok. Give them time to learn before you put their head on a stick :D

o.o;

My cleric gets the crap kicked out of him.

Anybody who uses sparkcash turns my cleric to dust lol. And even if you don't you could probably still kill me sooner or later (with the exception of archers).

(Off-topic post, I know, but that little tidbit was bugging me =x )

Lol, well I don't see too many clerics in pvp areas like the fbz zones get the crap kicked out of them. That's what i was referring to. In the abyss and pvp kq, ya ok, they might not win as much I guess.

But o.o all the time? Maybe you need some more end lol.

Generally speaking the major difference is you can make a level 20 character in 8 hr, higher if you are not making a cleric.

More PVP element is added. Some quest are still bugged.

He's an end build, actually.

25 dex, 25 spr, rest end.

Wears a blue shirt (adds 500 HP) and blue boots (adds 5% crit).

The helm, pants, and shield have at least 30 END.

A have a couple different weapons depending on the situation, so meh.

If I had to guess, I'd say my cleric needs a +9 shield and some +9 clothes, not so much that he's lacking in END. I get 4.2k HP naturally. People can take that away in about 4 or 5 skills.

Well, if your cleric is capped, with 104 available stat points, that would mean that you have 54 in END, and 50 points distributed in dex/spr. I would not consider this an END build, I would call this a hybrid.

And yes, +9's are a must for pvp these days. But we're getting way off-topic here.......
