Will there ever be a roar block implimented? Some kid on Teva was spamming sad faces on roar for a good 10 minutes straight and block doesn't block roar so yeah... It would be very nice if there was a way to block the roars. :)

The fact that a rich kid can pay real money to annoy an entire server is just wrong. Block must be made to block ROAR also!

Roars are serverwide shouts, you can buy the ability to do this from the cash shop. So now you can talk to everyone in Teva, or whatever server you're on instead of all of eldy or all of uru or wherever you are. They really don't bother me, but i spend most of my time in whisper or party chat anyway. But i agree that people should be able to block.

But I doubt there will be a block option, people pay for it so everyone can hear them, if it's blockable it'll defeat the purpose of roar I think.

What exactly is the point of Roar, other than to annoy people? The only legitimate purpose for it that I can think of off-hand is server-wide advertising, and I rather doubt it's really any more effective than hawking your wares in town.

I haven't even seen that many advertisements. Whenever I'm on, all I usually end up hearing is pointless drivel like _____ repeatedly telling everyone how plastered she supposedly is.

*sigh* This one has me confused, OS. Roar isn't even a good money-making scheme. It's just...pointless.
