View Full Version : About bonuses and statpoints~ (a rant of some sort)

there seems to be quite a few complaining about how these bonuses and how they dont effect your character much at all - and this is pointed towards mostly at damage factors.* what i would like to know is when these bonuses actually make a notable difference.* i understand its only cb, and without the 17+ kqs, it will take longer than it should to get past the 20 mark.*


so it makes me wonder..* are these bonus stats 'bugged' at the moment, or will it really take more levels (probably 5x-6x) for stat builds to take effect?


which leads me to my second point.* i find it sort of constricting that stats go up automatically and you only have 1 point to distribute (with the exception of job changes).* i would definately prefer having 5 points given upon levelling up and putting it wherever you please.* half the fun in mmos is making your own stat/skill build and being different from everyone else.* having everything raised seems too 'balanced', and im the kind of guy who prefers concentrating and maxing out one stat pronto.* though i doubt anything could be done about that now, only thing i could suggest would be giving us maybe 2 stat points instead of 1 >_<

This probably won't make much difference, but i agree; i would prefer the ability to customise my characters as much as possible; give the ability to go all STR ( if the guy has a deah wish ) it would be more interesting; then they could sell stat resets in the cash shop for people who mess their chars up.



So comign at them from a make the game better and earn more money aspect.... let us mess ourselves up XD

yeah.. only 1 stat point per lvl is kinda dumb... at least give us 3 or 4 stat points...

It still makes no difference. I don't see how adding 5 int at once doesn't change me damage. And if that doesn't then having more points won't help much. It's ridiculous. If it's not a bug then Stats like INT are useless since all it does is supposedly add magic damage.

well actually come to think of it.. i think the int works... lol... well we dont really see the difference because each time we lvl up we probably attack another monster that is stronger.. so it has higher magic defense... i mean if the int doesnt work at all, u cant 1 hit kill those low lvl monsters... my fireball does like 1k damage to the slime...

but then there are the complaints of how skills dont do as described.. so hopefully that gets fixed (perhaps its just a translation error instead of a damage formula error)


either way, im starting to think that this is some strategy to promote partying alot more, which may be a drag for all you full time soloists out there
