Some people out in 'Net Land may have heard about this new threat to cyberspace.

For those who haven't, please take some time to view this:

Day 1

<Removed>

Day 2

<Removed>

Today...

We all should be wary of this menace, as it could still be unleashed, or hiding out in places we least expect to find it. Considering the majority of users on OutSpark are most likely PC users, precautions should be made, or we might see this company's profit go from black to red, in the blink of an eye. We got all these techno-troublemakers out there that would want nothing more than to Vandal-ize the technology we use every day. :(

*listens*

Do you hear that? There's over a million terrible [viruses, worms, etc.] things out there that could be coming your computer's way, every day, ppl...and when they find it, they can crush it, they can cut it up into tiny little pieces, and then blast it into oblivion (metaphorically speaking). :mad:

Thank you, and God bless.

I appreciate your concern for the community, however we cannot allow links that redirect to sites or videos that are not affiliated with Outspark. This can increase the risk of users visiting dangerous websites that can result in obtaining viruses and such onto their computers.

So please refrain from posting such links in the future.

Thank you.

Sorry about that. <LOGIC TRAIN!>

Anyway...

Ways it can attack:

USB disks: it may enter one after infecting your computer (or not).

If you see something like "publisher not specified", that's a big red flag (don't click it).

Remedy: find an anti-virus program that will support your USB disks.

Servers: basically if the worm containing computer attacks your server, it can spread to the computers that don't have anti-virus programs.

Remedy: have an anti-virus program at the ready on the PC, and no damage should be done.
