I didn't know where to put this, so this seemed as good as place as any for now. A player attempted to trade accounts with me via a whisper. Of course I knew this was a wrong move.

When I responded to her/him that I would be submitting a screenie of his/her whisper, he/she went further to act oblivious to ToS as a new player. But when I gave Shout to notify others in Elderine (Bijou server) I got several whispers back that he/she had attempted the same trick with them.

Here's my screenie of the actual first contact; you may need a magnifying glass to read this, if so, I don't know any different way to submit to assist in this matter other than sending it directly to someone at OS:

u might have to remove the name on your post even though u have the evidence cos thats blacklisting.and well ehm a best way to do it would be sending a ticket straight to a CSR. if you dont know how to do that, theres a thread around which posts how to do so~

Thank you for trying to warn others about this, but the SS and all names will have to be removed due to such naming being 'blacklisting' and is against forum rules.

The best thing you could do is send a detailed report, with the SS's, to Outspark and they will handle it from there.

EDIT: Hika beat me XD

Also, here's the notice about scamming etc... http://www.outspark.com/forums/announcement.php?f=14&a=66

Well.. you can't read it anyway, cept the name I included in post.. so that's gone, gone, gone. Thx.

Ya, I knew about most the scams, but this individual wanted to trade accounts... LMAO.. said s/he made it to lv 68 in a week, which was balarney, and the rest realy didn't make any sense either. Needless to say, after I sent out a shout in Elderine, others responded saying s/he tried the same thing w/ them, and others shouted back "thx for info".

There are a lot of young people on during the weekend and I just couldn't see them being taken in by this, you just never know who may be suseptable.

I can't see the chat in that SS.

Scams happen all the time, which is why OS has had to take a hard stance with it. I saw someone in eldy today going up to as many people as possible saying 'give me X (your pet, your staff, etc) and I will give you all my sparkcash. You trade me first'. lol. Like, really, wth... You just have to keep your wits about you and either say NO and block them (possibly warning others IG) and/or SS everything and place a proper report.

I had to remove the link due to Blacklisting. Even though the screenshot was tiny, I'm sure someone could have found a way to zoom in and read it if they wanted.

We appreciate your concern about this issue.

If you'd like to report this issue, please do so through a Ticket to the CSR's. We do not allow player reports on the forums.

Be sure you include:

Screenshots (May want to make sure it's readable)
IGN
IGN of the person being reported
Server name
Approx. Time/Date
Description and additional details about the situation

You can get to the ticket form through my signature, or through the Support Tab at the top of the page. It may take a while for them to address it seeing as it is the weekend and there is no one at the office to check tickets at this time.

PhotoBucket won't allow a resize that is readable. The more you try to bugger with them in photobucket, the worse the lettering gets.

After I logged back in, there was a player using the most foul of language, calling other players horrid names, degrading Fiesta and the staff, then laughing when someone would point out they took a screenie to send in. I didn't take a screenie because I was under the impression the aforesaid process was the method of submission.

EDIT: Ok, ok.. I did go to your link, and they do allow for a direct d/l. Hope the pic is big enough for them to see. Prior to this I was told to send link to photobucket for CSR submissions. Good to see this is not the the way things are done.

Thanks, Shadowic2

Oh, I know.. and how creative they're getting. I sat there by Shutan last night [wee hours of the morn] and the frequency with what is going on here just flaberghasted me. They ask you to buy a rider from Fiesta Store, as well as other items, ask for silver, gold, and if a player is holding an upgraded weapon, attempt to make some wild deal with the player.

I don't remember it ever being this bad before, or maybe I just wasn't paying attention to all the conversations rolling by in my chat screen. Course I never just sat down in the center of town for a given amount of time and read the shout and normal chats.

You're welcome ^^.

Prior to the helpdesk getting redesigned to be more user friendly and more efficient for the CSR's to use, the original way to send in screenshots was to upload them to an image hosting site such as Photobucket and paste the code. Some people are probably still unaware of the changes made.

So now not only users can upload screenshots, and I think (can't remember) videos directly to the ticket form, you can also track the ticket status.
