Lights never go on?

Well just now I am trying to defeat my shadow and I do just fine up until the lights go on. I find my way, but the never turn on again. What the heck do I do? I wasted hp potions on this and I can't even finish it, I have to start all over.

Follow the beam -all- the way to the end.. when you get near the end, move slowly until the room lights up. The spot you have to hit is very small, and is best navigated with the W, A, S, and D keys if you can't pull it off with the mouse.

I walked towards the small little crystal thing and still no light. I ran to the end, up until the last larger crystal and then walked to the smallest crystal at the end.

I also defeated an archer, but the last time I also defeated a shadow marlone fighter along with the shadow marlone archer.

I never had a problem with this, but I suggest moving the camera zoom and angle until the blue light comes through the screen (at least part of it will look like a plus sign/cross/+), line your character up with the blue light, and push whatever button moves forward (I reset this to the directional key up, but I have a laptop and am right handed, so it makes sense)

Remember, this will only work at the end of the light line, obviously...

If nothing else works, I'd have to go with my backup suggestion, contact a GM.

Edit: Those two enemies stay where they are, but when the lights come back on, they attack with your shadow, unless you kill them in the dark.

The main reason for killing them early is because they are more of an annoyance than anything, and will waste more Hp/Sp items than if you kill them separately.

Incidentally, if anything else comes to you when fighting your shadow, kill it first, it will be much less annoying dead...

err this quest worked 4 me
i jus ran to the light
and it lighted up

yeh i used about 50 pots
had buffs too
def buff, hp buff.

i recommend u get buffs too :P

Okay thank you, I shall try all. And yes I use buffs and plan on gaining more hp pots for I've heard this is extremely difficult and I find when fighting the archer and fighter I use only 1 pot for the to of them, one sp and one hp. So I find that if I kill them first it is much easier. ^^
