I suggest to have a ping and fps counter onscreen so we can see if we are lagged or just we are running the game slow.

The FPS can be added manually, if you have an ATI card with CCC installed on your computer or if you simply install a program called Fraps. The Ping however, is not a simple thing to ask for. So unless you'll go into the game's or your prime drive (where there's a chance of it being located) folder and search all the items for the I.P of the server and manually type in your Command setting window /ping (server's I.P) you can't do it. That is, if you'll be unable to get it the easy way; ask a GM directly, in which case I guarantee you with 99.9% certainty that you will be unsuccessful.

Edit: Although, having a coder add the pink proximity on into the game is actually possible and relatively easy.
