View Full Version : How can we show appreciation to the GMs and other Outspark employees?

Ya know, there's a lot of abuse of the GMs around here, and I think that's just wrong. I feel like all of the decent Outspark users should collaborate on a how and when to show appreciation to the folks who make the games tick.

Any suggestions?

Do not flame me, the employees, or anyone else on this board, or on the forums, period. If you do, you are braking the ToS and, more importantly, being a total n00b. Do please, don't be one.

i say we go to the houses in real life, chuck down a giant Banner saying you're great then we all dance round the house chanting 'we want blood' or 'gms are graet'

The Main thing that I think we can do is give them a break... I mean all the slamming flaming cussing out and especially the begging for freebie pets and such is just crazy and rude.. QUIT yelling them cuz you couldnt get in the KQ or becuase so and so has a pet and you dont. actually quit yelling and cussing at them for everything.. This game is still in Beta and there are alot of bugs to be worked out.. That is why we are still in beta.. I think they are doing an AWESOME job all things considered and they still have to hold events and talk to players.. Which they dont have to do.. I know this is probably not the kind of answer you were looking for but just being polite and not being so rude to them would show them alot..

ou can show appreciation by treating them as people, or friends, instead of deviants and gods.

I agree with autumnangel.
Give them a break!
Show a lot more appreciation for what they do and the recreational service they provide.
Stop whining and complaining about everything like a bunch of spoiled children.
Stop spamming them asking for stuff.
If they want to give you something then they will give it to you without you begging for it.
Stop making demands for things. (if you don't like the game then go someplace else)
Try showing gratitude for a game that is provided to you for no cost.

That is how to show your appreciation to the GMs and Outspark.
Just my opinion.
(and I am right so don't even bother arguing with me!)

I know I do the following, but even then, I feel like doing something... More. The sort of behavior stated above should be standard fare, not a favor to them.

i only agree partially with you guys. I can only agree on the part about freebies. No GMs should give out freebies if they dont want to, although a generous GM would be great.

However flaming and slamming on the Fiesta's GMs, aside from giving freebies, i think is "OK".
Reason for this is
1) players need to vent somewhere or to someone.
2) GMs get paid for it.
3) Game is progressing too slow, updatewise, and someone needs to be accountable for that.
4) Game is has too many holes (you know wut i mean).
5) Most people do not know how to make and save money, so its natural for them to beg for stuff from GMs.

-btw blame the chief coordinator of Fiesta for the slow updates. In order to do that, file loads of complaints to customer service (though, them replying back is another issue).

You can help them a lot by answering questions they have already answered. By providing a link to a topic where a GM has stated an answer to someone else, you are saving them the work of having to re-type it up :p

I think all the Outspark staff will say the same thing..

"Buy stuff when the shop opens"
