Delete the game from your C:\Documents and Settings\(your username)\Application Data folder, uninstall the launcher, make sure you have >2GB free disk space on C: and reinstall.*This worked for me. I had the same problem.Good luck!*

Unless it's a multi-user computer then it is in the public access folder. And yeah, try doing that, before you do it, try updating your DirectX version. That might be a cause of your problem. Also check your graphic accelerator, it may or may not contribute to the issue.
