Alright this is a Mara KQ/KQ in general rant.
1) I don't mind rushing and I don't mind not rushing as long as we can all make it alive, but when have or less of the group is left behind to die then we have a problem.
2) One word for tanks: TAUNT! (the taunt is sneering kick, or the AoE taunt) If the tank doesn't keep the agro of the Maras and Marlones (or any boss), then they come after the people doing the most damage (the archers, and more likely, mages), who cannot take the damage.
3) Clerics: Heal, do not attack! Revive only when you have an opening in the healing (such as the target is stunned). Also heal yourself with potions and stones, and others with your spell.
4) Mages and archers: Do not pull something you cannot take some hits from in case a tank doesn't taunt it.
5) Stop putting other people down! You will ruin your rep and **** people off.
In the last Mara KQ I was in it went fine till we got to the first Mara/Marlone area. No one wanted to tank and when we finally got one, he didn't taunt at all, lost the agro several times, and I died 3 times, then they all laughed at me for dieing! Seriously why would you tank and not taunt?
Also as a last note, I am proficient in Fighter, Mage, and Cleric so I know what I'm talking about. I have a pure END fighter named Kris, whom I have succesfully tanked many Mara KQs with, a Cleric Inomine that on another server has been in very succesful Mara KQs, and am now working on my mage Kres (who just got owned inspiring this rant)
