In respsonse to Mr. Pheonix~
No, once you have become say, a Fighter, the only class you can change to would be Knight, you are stuck in that Branch ._.
Sorry for not responding so soon, I don't usualy check polls~

Of course its Worth it!
All Classes are worth it~
Try it out, healing in a party is strangely entertaining.

Acolyte is the hardest job to work with in solo, as their Illusion Quake is very limited when it comes to firepower. ^-^'
If you work as an acolyte you should join up in parties and keep healing and buffing the team as you see it necessary in combat.(Learn who to prioritize and not)
You will spend very little time fighting as an acolyte unless you get on using;few acolytes out there can manage their I.Q. good enough when alone and get enough experience points doing it.
Acolytes costs to use as they suck up blue potions like nothing. If you want combat, become a predictor at level 45 and start pounding stuff.
BUT! Remember that until level 51 you can't stun or slow down critters like Rogues, Fighters and Magicians.
Tactics are more of a hard kind as a predictor if you can't manage it.

No, Predictor is a secondary job you can choose as an acolyte. ^-^'
(Not mainbranch, like how Archer belongs to Rogue, but doesn't retain any rogue skills once he/she have become an archer)
Predictors and Archers are so called "Hybrid job-classes", mixing some skills from their earlier profession and something new along it.
It goes like this:
Mainbranch:Xenian>Acolyte>Clergy(Healer)>Unknown job> Final job, still unknown
Or...
Secondary and optional branch:
Xenian>Acolyte> Predictor>Cleric(Battle maiden)> Final job, still unknown.
The predictor-path contains one less job to achieve, then the Clergy-path, just like the Archer's class.
Note: Once you have chsen one path(Cleric or Clergy), you can't regret your choice or jump from let's say Clerigy to become a Cleric. ^-^'

I'm seeing five jobs each O_o
But, so, do the clergy path have some advantage?
And could you tell me some more about predictor? I think I'm going to be one.

Clergy is exactly the same as Acolyte in the Aspect it is the game's Main Healer~
Allthough when it comes to Predictors, I'll let one tell you.

The predictor is a hybrid class between a warror and acolyte. At lv 45 you may speak to the aco guild leader, give him the "ornament" he is asking for(not "wand"!) and become a Predictor.
Predictors can buff themselves with a smaller variant of the Fist Up and Bless of Acolyte, but the predictor can only buff himself/herself. No one else, even other predictors.
We can still stack our buffs with an acolyte casting any of the buffs mentioned above, to make us even stronger.
Our firepower is medium strong. We have a problem fighting more then 1-1 before Lv 51 when Time Shield comes and our Stun-move appears.
We can still support others with "Assist Heal", which is a 240 heal given to the target in a span of 10 seconds for full effect.
Assist Heal is an esset and pivotal part of any sane predictor.
The main move is "Force Blast", which does decent damage, and may stun the target.(Not guaranteed like the Rogue's Blind Sight)

Lawl, you remind me of a Friend of mine from College, while dossing in Class we play Onslaught 2.
He is always asking me which way to play is the best, and I always tell him to try out what he thinks, and see what he likes.
You are bound to prefer Fighter or Rogue, and they are very similar classes, so go ahead and use which one you think is the better, or an even wiser choice, the one you like more.
I can tell you where to get items, how to finish quests, but I won't choose your Class for you~
