:) I just wondering what is the richist class because i want to be rich like others....

Well, i'm fairly rich (actually, i'd be richer if i wouldn't upgrade and break stuff), but anyway.. it really doesn't have anything to do with what class I am.. It's all about buying and selling..
I do that to make my money.. so i can play my characters like i want to.. and not how i can play with what money i have.

all of my farmers are clerics because I find they need the fewest potions and stones (when farming that is, doing regular leveling or questing I find I use a lot of sp stones and potions)

I wonder why you have to post your photo which is completely irrelevant with the thread's topic.
Anyway, being a cleric allows you to save more money than others, simply because clerics are capable of healing their HP efficiently so less HP recovery items are used.

Clerics are the richest class, hands down. Their heal ability (if combined with the ability to decrease sp consumption) can make for a good few minutes of thwacking monsters. No hp stones required. Then, if you are daring, you can either use the sp potions you make yourself or hideout in your house to recharge sp. The only downside to the awesome-ness of clerics is the extra cost of their shield.

By default, whoever kills quickest, gets drops quickest, gets money quickest.
At the moment, we are all leveling, so whoever kills quickest also levels quickest & incures whatever cost leveling brings, so it's whoever consumes less is richest per level (even if they took twice as long to get that level).
When we achieve max level, we'll all find our farming spots, we'll all gear up, and the guys that kill quickest will be richest by far.

It's the first thing I noticed that didn't go in place with the poll >_<
Anyway, I vote for clerics for the obvious reason ^ ^
They have a better choice/chance for saving for money ^ ^

Personally I see nothing wrong with her posting the picture.
Granted it has nothing to do with the thread but it looks nice.
I used to have my picture on my sig but I took it down.
Because,,,,, well because I was starting to get the impression that it wasn't the best policy.
Anyway there is no "Richest Class"
It depends entirely on the person playing the character and how motivated they are.
Just my opinion.

that isn't her sig tho but i have made everyclass and i am always poor because i keep breaking stuff

I'm with Gravvi on this. I have 4 characters and I am always poor as dirt without gold in it because I believe in making my equipment the best it can be and that means breaking alot of stuff first, so yeah...Also about the pic it isn't really appropriate for a game forum, but the woman is beautiful.

I think its more in what production you pick. I'm finding that stone production is the most profitable if you stay with tier 1 (since everyone is smart by tier 2 to only use blessed/lucky). Otherwise I'm enjoying Comp/Decomp on my cleric and do it to fuel my mages stone and scroll making obsession.
If my cleric was the stone/scroll maker she'd be the money, but since she sends everything to my mage, she makes nothing out of the deal...so class, doesn't really matter much.

LOL,i vote for clerics.......they youse healing and theat means theat you dont need to buy healing potions and if you can make hp potions you dont waste to much tought meat and spirit fruits, and if you put at your skills sp consuption, you dont need to make to much sp potions,+ theat you have your house theat can help you regenerate your hp and sp!! The richest "class" is whoever spends the most time making money.
Just as the "highest lvl" is the person who spends the most time grinding.
There's no secret skill involved with either, it only takes time.

Complementary classes is a bonus, but not a necessity, I was talking about solo farming btw.
but generally cant go wrong with a healer + tank =]

There lots of 50+ who Tank-Cleric Team Farm orcs the drops sell for 500-600c a drop and its split between two people also including random loots like mushrooms which sell for 600c each i think, so ya gain levels find a partner and go farming n_n

thats not necessarily the case. u cant utilise ur production skills if u dont farm. but u can go with no skills and still make money from farming. in the end farming is the source of all your money [unless u choose to merchant].

Having money in this game is seriously about how much time you feel like wasting slaughtering green mobs for their drops...thats all it is...seriously ANY class can do it >_> so...ya...its just time consuming I'd suggest though leveling and try to solo farm maybe chickens in Uru

I say mage myself, you clerics takes too long to kill mobs
yes you may be able to heal; however we mages do not have to;
most mobs are dead before they come anywhere near us.
I mass kill mobs quickly normally with only 2 to 3 hits.
Who wants to play whack a mob and for those of us who
never played Ragnarok Online mob = monsters.

Apparently, Duron, you haven't become a WizMage yet, for after hitting 20, mobs get a hell lot tougher and upon hitting 3x you'll need 7~8 hits to kill even green mobs, like at lv 32 my mage still needs 7~8 hits for bats which are already green. On the other hand, clerics make money real quick b'coz, well, clerics can heal and they are always wanted in a party. So a lv 20 cleric would be wanted in uruga even though everything's red for them. They don't have to kill, if the party is set to seq alloc they'll get loot just for healing.

i found that once ur lv 30+ u can prety much make alot of money by ur self if ur cleric. i usually get like 15s every 1hour soloing in mt. Grinding is only good if ur like a hardcore lvler which is prety much something i discurage u to do because money is one of the biggest issues in this game. Mages can also make lots of money if they killl mobs they can kill b4 the mob reach them.

I'm not really sure. :x I've had an archer in Bijou server, used a lot of HP Stones and potions. I haven't really gotten too far with it, so I don't really know for archers. =P Then I went to Teva Server and started a cleric and also a fighter. My fighter uses a lot of HP potions / stones but very little SP potions / stones, while my cleric uses a lot of SP Potions / stones and very little HP potions / stones... Like in Mara KQ, since some people think we don't have much time often, they don't wait till clerics have fully recovered their SP, so....some of us ends up using SP stones / potions more often then others >.< I've never really used a mage before, but my brother uses one. He says he uses a lot of potions, HP and SP wise..since low defence and using only SP consuming attacks. I'm not too sure about high level tho =P considering my brother and I are only at level 2X's. ^^"

I doubt that, unless you hardcore farmed for money. Grinding to 25 wouldn't earn anyone 300 silver without spending hours farming, production skills, and possibly getting nice drops to sell.
However, you can earn a lot of money by 25 if you know what you are doing.
I remake a Mage every few days to level it to 15 and I end up with almost 50 silver each time from materials to sell. Gotta love players buying far more than what it is at an NPC. :)

And you definately know what you're doing.
I'm jealous.
I don't rake in the silver, but I'm not dirt poor either.
I like being somewhere in the middle.
I don't get it why people brag about having a lot of money.
I mean, if you have a lot of it, why don't you put it to good use and stop blabbing?
If I had a ton of money, I'd help poor people buy better equipment and more HP/SP retorations.
It's a lot more productive.

I don't see 'too' many people brag, but there is no reason for it since no one really cares unless you are sharing lol. But I know I waste that 50 silver in a few hours on trying to upgrade. The enhancement system is whack I tell you. :p

I have to be truthful to say that I've created several characters so far, each of them not even getting to level 20 before deletion. So, everything that they made has been placed into the storage for future characters... hence why my little newblet Himoya has more than she should now.
But at any rate, money-making all depends on the person. Some people can be breaking and enhancing stuff like heck and still be able to have more than they can spend. I, myself, just simply grind and sell the wares that I don't use yet (scroll-making items, some potion making items if I don't need 'em...). That's gotten me good amounts of copper so far. It all depends on the player on what you need, what you want, and how big of a spender you are. =P

Although I only play 1 character(fighter), I think clerics are the richest class, because they have no need to spend a lot of potions or stones. Furthermore, they are the most favorite class for the party.....so they benefited greatly by this virtues.

I'd have to argue that Fighters, and Clerics are more than likely prone to be rich. Fighters need nothing other than a few SP pots for skills when they have a cleric. Furthermore, they are constantly in the mob-mix to be the first to pick up drops...

I only read the first few post's of this thread, so if this has already been mentioned...
Richest class, not sure if I'd call it that.. If you are into production and trade then the richest class would be universal.. BUT Since I have to choose, I am going to say cleric.
As much as a cleric saves on pots and such, they also have a downfall when it comes to skills. Clerics have so many skills, it's not funny x-x;; And this chews increasingly into what ever savings us clerics have.. That's why Production and/or trade comes in handy. ;]

Pffffff. There is no richest class. Once you get to a higher lvl you get higher level items that sell for more money. But if you take my advice clerics are kind of a bad choice if you wanna be rich. They take up a bunch of money buying skills. Other classes get skills one level at a time. But clerics do get alot of money cause they can fight for longer periods of time and get more items. So it's really your choice and which class do you think you'll wanna be stuck with for the rest of the game. Good luck :)

that and when i pt with others not too many ppl want to do sequential allocation (coz of quest items and such)...and i'm too busying healing to pick up drops D:
lol i guess its time to do some farming then...-_-
but yeah like others said its more about what you get and then selling it rather than based on class, although clerics do spend less on stones and pots....but then skills are another issue.

11-24-2007, 06:39 PM
Erm... I dunno, but my vote's with the archers. I'm thinkin' parties, here, and in terms of less usage of HP/SP, I would think the archers would have it. Fighters would use at least some HP stones when in a difficult area with its party; clerics have to regain SP eventually, and mages just EAT SP. But I dunno -- mages also get life tap.
Seriously, I think it's all a matter of your playing style. Whether you like levelin FAST and use stones, or take the time to rest instead. (I rest when I can....) Resting definitely saves you moolah....

11-24-2007, 07:59 PM
I say its just how you play the game... if you don't buy crystals and use your money on stuff that you just primarly need then you usually have a decent amount of money for skills.
My fighter is up to date on anything and i have 18 silver left. (lvl 36)
So i just say its how you play the game... i usually rest in my house... yes it takes a while but if you get used to it you will have items to sell in no time

Just wondering ... when your in a party and you kill something big that drops all this stuff on the ground who gets it? Does the person who hit the most HP off get it or does the person with the fastest picking up skills get it?
Because if its the person who hits the most HP off then the cleric wouldnt get anything most of the time meaning the little SP/HP pots they do use are not being re-embursed ... which kills the argument of them using the least pots.

If it's on "Free Allocation" anyone in the party can grab it.
If it's on "Sequential Allocation" then, regardless of who picks it up, it's distributed evenly across the party.
Sequential is the typical setting that party leaders use when grinding/farming (exception is when going for quest drops for one individual).

The richest character is the one who knows how to use his/her productions skills to the fullest. It doesn't matter what class you are, there are always ways to make money outside of mob loot.
Zwivix

Yes, exaclty the point I was going to make. There is no class that is the riches, strongest, or anything else. It depends on the people who play them. Everyone has a different playing style and some people are just better than others.

it has to be cleric.
#1 clerics are mostly wanted in a party so they can heal, and tank wont hav to use stones and pots. so they can get items, which they can sell.
#2 duoing, they best duo is any class, and a cleric, also leading to more item drops.
#3 since cleric can heal them selfs they can solo earlier then any other class, mean more items for them lol(which they sell)
yea those are pretty much the main reasons. for any other class its hell to do that without wasting to much money lol.
