one of the requirements is a direct 9.0x but im not sure if my computer has that or not can someone help please...:eek:

"DirectX 9.0x" basically means having "9.0a", "9.0b", or "9.0c" installed on your PC. The 'x' in it is a placeholder for whatever version you might have (9.0c most likely).
If you aren't sure, go to this link (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&DisplayLang=en) for the latest DirectX version.
