Well I was actually looking on MMORPG.com for something to play and I came across fiesta online. I figured I'd register and start playing that but then I saw that there was another game to check out and it was SoS.

Needless to say I was saddened to find out that you can't sign up anymore so I'm stuck waiting for Open Beta to come out or to get a random invite I guess. Anyway, after playing Ragnarok Online since iRO beta (So about...6 years now?) It was kinda nice to see something like RO but with a fresh look and classes that looked pretty nice.

I checked out some of the screenshots and everything and I can't wait to play this game when I get the chance!

Anyway, just felt like stopping by and saying hello to everyone in the SoS community and I hope to play with you all someday! I'll be checking these forums / website everyday or so to see what new posts / screenshots / events and things of that nature happen to go on.

I think it will be worth it to wait for the Open Beta; this game looks like it's gonna be a hit. WoW is getting old, GuildWars refuses to update, and all of the "free" MMORPGS like MapleStory are starting to sell out.

I currently play WoW too. Level 70 Blood Elf Warlock and working on a 40 Dwarf Hunter. I've been playing WoW since the day it came out. I got bored with Guild Wars and yeah all the "Free" MMO's are poorly done or make you buy stuff in the cash shop to be any good. This game indeed looks like something worth waiting for.

Good, I can hardly advise it.
The game is totally based on being with other players, a numbers are coming down to about a constant 3000 on my server, and especialy being from the UK I miss peak times. Finding a party is hard ._.

I'm fairly new as well and my reasons for wanting to play are the same as the thread creator's :P I played RO from iRO beta testing (although, I took a break when they switched to P2P until I learnt about the free private servers, then tuck with the ones that were LR and as close to kRO as possible for the past few years) and was really excited to see this game.
My problem about waiting for OB is that I don't really want to get into any other games since as soon as this is released I'll give up on them and that just seems like a waste of time that way :P So, I'll just slow down my MMORPG playing until it's released :D (hopefully soon because there's only so far ahead I can get in my classes :S)
