skills for a newbie. help a newbie out. thanks.

So I am finally level 11 and I bought my first fighter skill, bone slicer. Imediate cast, casting distance 1.5m, cool time 15sec, target object, enemy. This may seem like a silly question but how do I use it? I mean what do I have to do with the keyboard? I double clicked with the mouse and then pressed the number key but the little box down at the right hand corner says that i did not select the target. No sp goes down and nothing happens. Also, do I mash the keyboard or do I just hold the key down until the monster is finished off. Anyway whatever I am doing I am doing it wrong. Can anybody help me. Thanks.

You have to click on a target monster or be already attacking one before you can hit the number key assigned to your Bone Slicer skill. Unless you really need said skill to activate the moment its cooldown is finished, there is no need to mash on the keyboard; holding down said number key assigned to said skill doesn't work. Was that the answer you were looking for?

I tried that and it still said, target not selected. It also said cannot use skill, or something like that. Also, do you hold the key down or continually mash the key. Thanks.
