If you want to be able to kill the mobs faster, go with full STR, or 25 SPR rest STR.

However, if you are interested in being able to handle larger mobs, go with a DEX build. Suggested DEX builds are: Full DEX; 25 SPR, rest DEX; and 25 SPR, 50 DEX, rest STR.

Then get full END gear. Don't put any points into END, you'll always suck with that. Go full str or 25 spr rest str.

END is good :P
Many people say END is a bad stat for an archer but it's good =3
I'm kitting most of the time and tried various builds, and I think a build with 50 END in it works great =3

I rarely die on either my Dex or my Str builds.

Heck, even some times that I'm trying to die I can't. >.> Stupid Junior Archons.

Staying alive is more about knowing how to kite properly (or, as one cleric called my style, "strange run") than build.

And what do you mean by "Strange run"?

I pick up drops from my mobs quickly, especially if there are other characters around (even more so if I'm in the abyss). This tends to results in my archers running in strange patterns inside and around the mob I've collected. The advantages are that I get more drops and have very, very nice clustering. The main downside is that I get hit for around 1-2k damage (nearly instantly) when I get hit.

It also looks funny when I have "one" mob following me, and then when I aoe, five die and the "one" keeps following me.

I kinda understand what you're saying. Whenever I kite, for example the lvl 60 abyss, I try to pick a spot where I can complete one whole circuit. By the end of the circuit, I will still have enough time to run by and spam the auto-pick up #button to pick up the drops. If I know there are other players around that take loot, I try to time my killing aoes just right so that the majority of the mob dies and then i'll back track for the drops. This way it reduces the chances of dieing and saves on hp stones/pots.

It's sounds funny I am trying an archer for the first time! I have mine at level 26, I have spent most of my time playing a mage or cleric. I always liked the archer skills and wanted to try it. I can't wait until I can run with all the mobs following me! I have followed an archer with my cleric once and never got to pick up anything -_- I like to get all the drops too! Can't stand seeing all of that money sit there for someone else to get ~.^

There might be 2 of us with strange runs

Attacking on the run. Many archer skills may be used while running, which makes an archer the ideal kiter.

Not if you use a speed scroll. Plus, if you are running, chances are that by the time a mob catches up to you it will be dead.

A mage can not kite!!! Only run "skill" run "skill" run "skill" until one of you are dead!!

Fighters are probably great kiters... deva, and run around once, only to find those monsters still stunned on the same spot.
