Green armor from normal monsters

I have had one piece of green armor with stats drop from a normal monster in my time playing, are they just insanely rare and I got lucky? I thought greens normally came from bosses and KQs.

Though for some reason a pair of lvl 38 mage pants dropped from a normal bat in LS2, kind of high level for that monster.

I have seen 3 or 4 green armors drop from regular monsters.

2 in GC - one was a cleric shield and the other was fighter helmet (REALLY nice fighter helmet - think it's lvl 46). 1 in CP (from a prisoner) - lvl 58 fighter pants O.O I think there was another one, but I can't remember what it was O.o

I don't remember seeing any green armors drop in LS2 or anything lower then CP/GC.

I'd say they're really rare drops and you got lucky :)

There is something like a 1/10,000 chance of a rare equip dropping from a normal monster.

Ah, wish it happened more often =P 3 more levels till my mage can finally use the pants that dropped but they will give her about 100 more hp lol.

Yes this can happen..
just look up the info on the Mobs ^ ^
and grind on it 24/7 and hopefully..
just hopefully a green item ^ ^
