Guilds are a great way to stay connected with friends and have allies to help with challenging quests, and can be created by visiting one of the Guild Managers in either Elderine or Roumen. To create a guild you need to be at least level 20 and have 300 silver. Players of any level can join a guild, but must be invited.

300 silver
300,000 copper for a guild !!!

level 20 is cool .. but what is with the high price

Simply put, to save abuse (GWs) and keep them unique rather than a dime a dozen.

300 silver proves that the people worked hard to gather money for the guild. Im hoping they raise the price to 1 Gold when Open Beta ends. When you get donations from other users its pretty easy to gather the money then. But once you can make it to an area with tier 4 items you can farm 300 silver in 1 day easily

so they should erase all guilds when the game goes fully open .. then set the price to 1 million coppers .. then set the level to get one to 40.

you know just to make it fair for the ones who don't have guilds.

another (game that shall not be mentioned here) always has had the guilds at 10,000 whatevers and level 20 .. all the way from closed beta to fully open ...

Kinda mute problem though ..

Fiesta is still great to play ... ;)

I think they are too cheap.. i'd rather see them be more like 3 gold.

Heck, i can legally come up with 300s in a short time (a few days).. and i'm not even exploring around Uruga (which is what i hear where you can make a lot of casH)

See this is the point everyone is missing if its an issue of 300s. One thinks its expensive, and the other things it should be raised. Why? As the game ages and progresses along, 300s will become a common occurance. So in a sense it's already cheap, we just don't know it yet. :-P

300s is not too expensive when u see the price for weps, armour and skills to lvl 80 from lvl 60

in ur inventory look at how much money u can have and take a close look

1000 copper = 1 silver
1000 silver = 1 gold
1000 gold = 1 gem
max gems u can have is 999

so 300silver for a guild is by far not expensive but it is hard to get that amount in early stages hence merchant titles and so forth and production skills to hlp raise ur personal funds. it's called initiative and retail people

Keep in mind this is still Open Beta and they have already raised the price once before from Closed Beta. (I can defaintely see the dev team doing it again)

why not make guilds a cash shop item .. that would make them unique .. and only players who pay/invest in the game would get them.

of course the guilds would have to have avatars to go with them .. different colors and be able to have more members .. say 400 or so .. anything less than a 100 is just playing around and not really worth it.

plus have guilds able to pk other guilds whenever and wherever they are found if they are at war with them.

people without guilds .. well they are what we pave roads with :D

People think guilds are too cheap? It takes perhaps three days to accumulate 300 silver, but honestly, I don't think that a higher price would be worth it. With 300 silver, you could buy:

New armour, weapon, shield, potentially upgraded.
Multiple new skills.
Some Uruga Scrolls.
Enough materials to make potions for a week.

Or you could buy a guild. A collection of people to talk to and who will help, and be helped by, you and yours.
The only "perk" of a guild is PvP, and that alone is really not worth three hundred silver in my opinion. If someone likes guilds, and wants to make one for the social aspects or anything of the like, then don't punish them with an obscene price-tag. Three hundred silver is enough to show a little dedication, and that's about all it should be.

30 people x 10s each = guild

Sooooo either go all the way and make guilds a cash shop item

or

Lower the price so guilds can become part of the community and another reason for players to stay ... longer.

another game has over a thousand guilds per server ... BUT it also has the players who are still there after a year ... not because of gameplay/music/graphics or anything like that ... they stayed because they have friends in the guilds plus a way to talk to them away from the general public. ;)

Plus guild chat is NOT spammed silly with ads by gold sellers and is a good place to help new people learn the game.

sure there are wars between guilds ... but these are much rarer than you would think ... most of the time people ally with other guilds to take on a really annoying monster/jerk.

most of the PKers are kids under 20 anyway and they won't be around long enough to become an annoyance. :D

At level 20, I had done a bit of marketeering & had at least 50s, probably I had a fair bit more than that....

To a lot of people here, lvl 20 is under a days work.

Now say I wanted to throw my 50s in and make a guild, all I need is 5 friends who want to join me in starting one. I can also wait a few days, make some more cash, cut down the amount of friends I need to chip in.

Now if I don't have a few friends who want to start a guild with me, then why the hell am I starting a guild?

I'm probably 14 or something thinking "OMG, MY OWN GUILD COOLNESS".

There are 2 types of guild that I find are successful. Mature friendly guilds, and hardcore guilds.

Sure the 14 year olds will make their guilds, but lets make them work for it a bit, I really don't need to read too many guild names like "I R KILZ U"
