[5.10.07] **Direct X 9.0c required to start Fiesta.**

We have had some reports from members who are able to install and start the Outspark Launcher, but who cannot start Fiesta after logging in.


Most of the time, this is because Direct X 9.0c is not installed on the computer.


In most cases, Direct X 9.0c is included with Windows XP. Windows 2000, however, comes with an earlier version. If Fiesta will not start after logging into the Launcher, please download and install Direct X 9.0c from this site:

You may need to restart your computer after installing Direct X 9.0c.

only beta testers are allowed to see and post in the beta tester forums (which this is), therefore you are a beta tester and should be able to get into the game /sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif

well that's really odd, you really should be able to, i had problems at first cause i was sure that i had spelled my username a certain way cause it's my last name, but apparently i spelled it wrong...so yea, might want to check your username cause i think they changed mine /sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-cry.gif

for all of u that are saying "i hav direct x and it wont let me play" well then u no the problem*is not your direct x


to see wat direct x u hav go to start menu, run, and type in"dxdiag" without the quotations.this is the direct x diagnostic report(system specifications)tells u a lot of info about your comp


one problem i had with the game was trying to install the game to a different hard drive than your main drive(if u had low memory,etc.)if this is wat happened to u,*use the system defragmenter(comes with all windows comps) and system cleanup(comes with all windows comps)


if u hav other problems that are not mentioned on the forums, plz report them telling your situation descriptively

I keep hearin of "Not able to play the Game, but not enought "This is what my computer has for hardware"*and "This is the error when I try to start the client." We (Fellow closed beta players and the GM's) CANNOT help unless we have more data to work with. It's like saying "I lost my puppy, help me find him/her!" What does the puppy look like? Is it small like a turtle or big like a kids bike? Help us help YOU!

OK, I've installed+ downloaded DX9.0C,i restart my PC. sign in the*outspark game, but*when i sign in, a screen appears, but quickly disappears! and then nothing happens....

hmm, seems rather useless. Depends on your gfx card what DirectX 10 you should get. Also will this game work with my 8500 Gfx SLI- Enabled card and DirectX 10?

Non beta testers can view this thread, because it was linked on the main page. However, you cannot view the "known issues" section by clicking it above the thread if you are not a beta tester. I click it and it says "You are not authorized to view this page".

Well i dont know if my problem is different or alike, i can logging to server, but when the girl asking me to creat a character to begin my adventure, i listen her, click on "Create" but than all freeze and game close..and i got more than "recommended pc" so it's not a problem from pc nor my internet, got cable...

i have a little problem


During the installation process i get an error:


"The windows Installer Service could not be accessed...."


after pressing "OK" (the only button) the installation process continues. But then i can't start the installed aplication.


i have XP SP2 (licenced) i have the directX 9.0c . I reinstalled Windows Installer. nothing seems to work





If any of u can tell me what to do it would be greatly apreciated

I found the root of my problem, but i have yet to solve it.


the problem occures when the following file is beeng executed: Launcher\vcredist_x86.exe". I get the message: "The windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if u are runing Windows in Safe Mode or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance".


the line in the installation at witch the error occures is: Launcher\vcredist_x86.exe/q:a/c:"msiexec/i vcredlist.msi/qb!"


I installed the game at work and it worked, leading me to belive that i have something missing on my computer.


What do i need to open/execute this file ??

I solved my own dilema and for those that encounter the same problem :


"START" btn > "RUN" > type "msconfig" and in the "Services" tab check "Windows Installer.
