This would be a cool idea, not saying it won't alter or throw off the balance of fiesta but it's just a suggestion.

How it should work:
There should be a server to server trade system where the person puts up the item somewhat like an in-game forum. The person puts the item into it like a storage system and puts the price and or items willing to trade for. Every person interested in selling/buying items that shouting won't find just browse the selections based by class or type. When they find the itemthey want, buy/trade or leave a message for the clerk. :D

Benifits:
Less time trying to buy or sell items. Servers can interact with each other. Also it can help item collectors with there search of rare items.

DownFalls:
It may throw off the money balance (Like there is one -.-). It could almost be impossible to stop thieves from stealing items and selling them without being caught. There would never be any items exclusive to servers. Although I'm not sure if there are any yet.

So what does everyone think? I want the good and bad of the idea.

I really don't understand what you are trying to say, how exactly would the trade posts work?

Peace:cool:

Okay I'm a big nerd cuz this makes me think of pokemon and how the Global trade system works. You put a pokemon up in the GTS and somewhere all over the world someone could trade you the pokemon your seeking. In this scenario if you want say a +9 Blue Axe and have a +9 Blue staff you could put it in this trade 'storage' only difference being money OR an item could be exchanged and it would be between servers.

Roll it into an in-server auction system. I would like to see a server-wide auction system go in, so you don't have a sea of shops set up in town. This would help reduce town lag for a lot of players, as well as make it easier to navigate the high-traffic bottlenecks that are usually targeted for shops.

Traditional shops would still be allowed, for people who prefer them, but this change should still see a huge drop in the amount of afk shops.

As a bonus, it should help normalize the price of items so you don't get such huge disparities. I've noticed what sometimes becomes an immense price difference between Asia prime time and US prime time, and to a lesser extent Europe prime time. If nothing else, this should help reduce arguments over item values, as well as squelch the inflation-boosting tendency of some players to buy and resell.

Then impose a percentage extra fee (5%? 10%?) for auctions cross-server. The fee should help encourage items to stay in the server that spawned them without mandating it entirely. When there's a lot of items showing up in the market at a given level range, there's also likely a similar demand developing in that level range. And buying/selling on the local server creates player interaction, so it should remain encouraged. To that end, make sure the seller is identified with each auction. -Maybe- allow a blind auction for a fee, hiding the seller's name if they would rather not be contacted.

edit: fixed a typo -_-

At any rate, in-server transaction is nearly impossible. After all, they are separate servers, separate systems. You would need some sort of heavy router, since the servers are not, far as I know, an internetwork.

I can;t help but think if it was to work anyway it would raise more competition in servers and showing off. Dun know why.
