I've been wondering.. if they made an npc where you put in an item and people are able to buy it from that npc would it be good?
its like pay 100s to put the item in and the action ends in like 2 weeks or so and theres little tab things so people can decide what lvl item they want to buy and what type of weapon or armor and +0-9 and so on.
would that be cool or am i just blabbering random things like i usually do for fun.

Auction NPC would hurt sparkcash house sales...Probably won't happen.

That would be terrible...
The game is already similar to WoW...
That would just make it closer...
Then all that would need to be done is 2 factions...
Both with different races...
WoW is okay...
But 1 is enough...

Totally agree, if the solution fits, but was used by someone else first, let's not use it.

It really wouldnt hurt sparcash house sells that much cuz people buy em not only cuz they provide more vend spots but restore hp/sp faster too.

This is just what I've been talking about. -pokes siggy-
I can't vendor at night, my comp makes odd sound (yeah, it sounds like a vacuum cleaner) while I play Fiesta. I couldn't sleep if the computer was doing it 24/7 >.<
I've tried Marketplace, but the thread somehow just disappears to page 100 after a few days. People start to chat in some selling/buying threads and ignore the real ones.
Shouting during game/using party chat/roaring is good, but you can't do it 24/7. When I go to bed, the American players come online. So it's pretty rare to sell lvl70+ stuff when it's daytime for me.
And Auction house would also minimize lag; people can vendor if they go afk for an hour or two but if they want to sell something while they sleep they can use the auction house. No more vendor sea and uber lag in Elderine (Aka Lagderine) centre.
And it also saves electricity ;) you don't have to keep your computer on all day long.
@ FlaredanceR: When Fiesta has same graphics and it's not a F2P anymore, come tell it's like WoW. Then we can agree.
Perfect World is still there. There's an auction house-like thing also. And the graphics. And you can sell their shop items in their ''vendors''.
And @ yourmojo: Why it'd hurt SC sales? It's not like they are selling CS items.
It's almost same as vendoring these days, it doesn't hurt SC selling in any ways.
I doubt people stop buying CS items that are made for vendoring that much OS would make a bankruptcy.

Auction House = good. To avoid losing any SC sales, they could implements slots (just like mushie). Everyone gets 5 and you can buy more through CS (house should still count, or be made cheaper).

Well if people could use an auction NPC, they wouldn't buy the fancy houses and house extender things that allow them to sell and buy many more things at once. If you could sell 400 dims through an auction then there would be no reason to buy a house.
Yes the SC houses do give nice regeneration, but it's also a very handy tool to get people to notice your shop. If you wanted a house just for the regeneration you would buy the cheapest one possible and stick to the auction NPC.
Sure, you could limit the auction to 5 slots. Maybe even 1 without sparkcash upgrades...But it sort of defeats the purpose of having it in the first place. It would be nice to sell a really good item but it would be a nightmare to sell mats.
Plus, they'd screw it up somehow. They'd probably make you pay SC to even access the NPC at all or something pointless like that.

I think it's a good idea. Like previous posts have mentioned, it would allow people to sell over night easier and it would reduce lag. If they limited the NPC to a certain amount of items per player, I don't believe sales would drop on CS houses. They do provide better regeneration rates, plus the extra shop space means that you can sell even more by using both the NPC and your shop. As for what they look like, never judge a book by its cover. I'm more concerned with what the shop is selling than what it looks like.

The idea of an auction house is kind of like one i already suggested to OS.
A place where you can put up your items for sale, with predetermined slae prices, ranging from a lower sell (sell faster) to a higher sell (for you greedies).
It would also control some of the crazy pricing people do in game that way, but OS most likely won't do this as it means spending time on something other than SC gaining updates they can do.... OS are greedies just like overpricers.

this is how it will not hurt the CS sales.
like vendoring we have like 5 slots to sell. for the acution house we have like 2 slots.
now if we want to sell more we have to buy more slots from the CS.
that is how you can salve the problem.
