ya me too, i bought a mac thinking that it would work, but now i am stuck with a mac that wont even allow me to access the program !!! :( :confused: why would the make it only for PC :confused: :eek:

I wanted to get a Mac a year ago, they're powerful and have many accessories, but it's not compatible with many programs (I mostly didn't get one because I'd have to buy all my Sims 2 games again for MAC, and thats a big no no cause I'm not bathing in money)
Yes, I do agree with you, the game should be compatible with Mac's cause it's true, not everyone has windows

Yes Imac do run Windows Xp/Vista and better then PC

Linux is starting to show here and there a little because of Vista
Vista sucks but that what I use because I'm a gamer
I know two people that uses Linux, and we sell them at the place we work.
If Microsoft have a say in it free will not be known.

I mean vista has been making a name for Linux these past few months. It's awkward how it takes an awful virus to bring people towards the unknown! ;)

Well, not saying linux can't be good
and Vista really isin't bad itself!
People are making a REALLY bad name for vista (Especially those mac commercials that I always laugh at, I always feel like a total idiot when I do, too)
Vista is a good change that I have waited for, for quite some time. Personally I never liked xp Its just colorful, thats all its got going for itself.

If you have above decent requirments to run a desktop (Or laptop) such as 1024 mb of ram instead of 512
and good graphics such as ATI Raideon, then vista is quick and has minimal problems.

I Have an Acer laptop
4 gigs of DDR2 ram
250 gig Hard drive
DVD RW Disk Drive
But no floppy disk (Awww ;o)

I Play the Sims 2, so those are kinda, ``requirments`for me, The sims 2 is a very demanding game.

laptops sucks compared to Desktops in power
oh I forgot to say my CPU was a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ and Sims 2 have a hard time playing on my machine

I have not one bit of problems with the sims 2
And I have expansion packs which apparently adds on to the requirements another 512 Mb of ram and increases the recomendations by a gig (:eek:)

I always meet recomendations, never requirements.
I think I have the same processor as you, too!

Actually there is a quick fix that "Might" work, that is if you are knowleged enough in it to understand.

You can search on google.com for info on "Swap Windows Files with MAC files". I read something like that a long time ago, and I tried a few things with that on my MAC. I currently have 7 computers, 2 of them are MACs. I use MAC for just about everything else, but if I can't play one game on a MAC, I'm gonna try it on a Windows PC. I have 2 Vista PCs, but I hate Vista, its annoying, it took me forever to figure out how to make it stop being annoying.

I fixed all my problems and am currently running the game fine.
