The filter seem to block a lot of what could be swear words but I see people using cuss words and profanity by shortning it has anyone else seen this.

This may sound odd, but I believe that curse words should be allowed. I mean come on. We all know them by the age of 11. Why not just let 6 or 7 year olds learn them, and be allowed to say them. After a few years, curse words will mean nothing, and then they are no big dead. People just need to relax when it comes to curse words.

I think the filter should be optional. It comes with the game when you download it, but you can turn it off in options menu. That'd be nice.

see... here is the thing

laws and rules are meaningless, if people do not want to follow them.
so... it doesnt matter how hard the people works to control cursing (with filters and rules)
the norm (majority of the players) will find a new way to get pass them.
it will be nothing more then an endless and useless war between the players and the developers.
its futile...

even though i understand that filter is good and necessary to protect the youngsters, i think we should be allow to curse.
if someone dont like someone else for cursing, they can blacklist that particular person.

then again, this is only my 2 cents.
