Question about Sc Itens and Mixed Gem Mode...

Well, I'll go right to the point.
I'm Scout level 52
without any equips i have 2+0 DEF
with my gears: 2+84
With bear boost set(normal mode): 2+78
With bear boost set(midex mode with gears): 2+84

My question is:
BB Set in normal mode gives the def that display in the item.
helmet: 16
Suit: 18

But it mixed mode gem, they don't add def...
I stay with my 2+84 DEF, with gem mode.
I thought I will have 2+118 (84+16+18)

So.. if they don't add def in mixed mode gem...
My question is, they don't add the exp boost too?
For the exp boost from the set i should use in normal mode?
Or add the exp boost, but don't add the def?

Mixed mode doesn't add ANY def or ANY thing extra. It just looks pretty.

The exp boost doesn't work in mixed mode either.

Yeppers,,recently had my squishie(mage) get wiped in his Easter Bunny suit in Cabalts Mine. Ah, twas a funny sight on the epic sunday morning with 50% boost for the weekend. My dead mage, just hanging there, in midair ghost form.LOL. I heard him whisper,,"Why did you do this to me?"
